Very simple auto battler in which you click on rewards after each round and watch characters beat each other. The main mode takes you through levels that contain several waves, each pitting you against one enemy. When you beat an enemy, you get to pick one attribute increase from a random selection of five. The rewards are annoying because they don’t reveal what they add unless you hover over them, so you need to inspect each one to choose the option that will help you the most. The rewards are fairly standard, offering damage increases, health boosts, and similar upgrades, and you can pick any of them without paying anything. Sometimes, completing a wave also leads to a store where you can spend coins earned from defeated enemies. Again, the selection is limited to five random items, and you get several free rerolls if you don’t like what is available. Shop items are similar to attribute upgrades, but their descriptions are cluttered and filled with numbers and percentages, making it difficult to tell how useful they actually are. This can be improved by buying the same item again. However, you can’t simply buy everything you want, even when you have more than enough money. Som…

Solider AutoChess is an indie strategy title developed and published by Amk800 that takes inspiration from the growing auto-battler genre while introducing a distinct martial arts theme. Instead of commanding armies or managing large groups of heroes, players focus on building a single warrior through a collection of kungfu techniques that automatically execute during combat. The concept is straightforward, but it provides a surprisingly engaging foundation for players who enjoy planning, optimization, and discovering powerful combinations. The game's central feature revolves around collecting and upgrading more than one hundred kungfu skills. Each technique contributes to a fighter's overall effectiveness, encouraging players to experiment with different combinations in search of the most efficient build. This emphasis on synergy gives the game much of its replay value. Rather than relying on fast reactions or mechanical skill, success comes from understanding how individual abilities complement one another and adapting strategies as new options become available. Combat unfolds through automated one-on-one battles, allowing players to focus on preparation rather than direct cont…

I'm gonna give this a thumbs up because I miss fun autochess games, and I think there's a lot of fun in here, but some decisions made here make it REAL difficult to fully recommend. The good: I love the theme. The synergies are cool, there's a lot of what SHOULD be aesthetic of you putting together your own martial art and having a big tournament. The bad: the art, and color choices. "Fully armored knight" and "kung fu" do not really match at all. Please, please get an artist to fix this. Also, get an artist to help you with color choices - it's really hard to read the words based on the lettering versus background colors. Also, the synergies icons are way too hard to read - maybe make them actually square instead of that narrow rectangle. If those things would be fixed, it'd be an easier game to recommend.
