About Sophia the Traveler
Unique and enjoyable picture book style. I believe that you all have read "Where's Wally?" before. Does playing our game bring back your childhood memories? Here in "Sophia the Traveler", we strive to make sure that every frame is a painting. You will never be short of wallpapers anymore!

This version contains 10 different scenes. More than 1800 character assets, over 300 sets of character animation, more than 100 sequence animation & SFX, exceeding 100 European buildings (including 8 iconic buildings of Venice), and nearly 300 sound effects have been integrated into the game, just to create the complete and lifelike Venice in our dreams.

Dubbing in all kinds of languages: We've recorded human sound effects on our own in many languages, including Mandarin, English, Italian, French, Cantonese, Minnan and so on (we are from Fujian Province in China, our hometown language is a must).

Fun animation Easter eggs: We've designed lots of fun and quirky little Easter eggs in the game, which will definitely surprise you during gameplay.

Plans for a sequel: Tang Dynasty in China, France, the Netherlands or somewhere else! Come to our community and vote for the next destination you want to go!
I really wanted to make a cozy game full of love and joy.

To me, Venice on the water is one of the most romantic cities in the world. I still remember seeing the romance movie "Everyone says I love you" that happens in Venice when I was very young. From then on, I have always wanted to see Venice, but sadly the trip never happened for various reasons. Someone might wonder how I can make this game without actually having been there. For three years Google Maps and piles of travel books have helped me see every corner of Venice.
And now, we've created a girl named Sophia, who loves life, music and good food. And hope that she will take us all to Venice through this game.

Sophia is traveling around the world with her dog, her dog's lovely bone, and her parrot, and you need to find them and other objects or living beings that are within the area. Beware, though. The area is very vast. Oftentimes, a level will contain more than one island at once, where many points of interest are …10 found this helpful
Super cute game! If you're only looking at the screen to find things you're probably going to have a hard time because maps can be very big. HOWEVER if you zoom in and look at the scenes and enjoy how it's set up, you'll be able to find things without too much difficulty. This shouldn't be a game you rush through or you'll definitely be frustrated. The sounds are cute and it has such a cute artistic style!1 found this helpful
Cute
I fully beat this game, to preface This game is hot garbage imo, art quality is poor, sounds are so annoying I had to mute the game. The entire idea of the "wheres waldo" gp is flawed because they have you look for a grocery list of people, objects, etc. Instead of actually playing the game, I unironically got more enjoyment from looking up a guide and looking at a suggested location instead. (brought the actual appeal of the wheres waldo thing bc you were only looking for one thing in a reasonable area) don't waste any money on this game. Even if it was free I still wouldn't recommend
the game is too big and only gets bigger, this would not normally be a problem but the hint system is not always helpful. it will be like the father is a super dad, he has 3 kids. the sprite will show a dad with three kids but then you have to look around a full complete map to find a random guy with three kids. the hints don't narrow down where to actually go unless its a small map. with each big level it adds on to the original map. it then will add things in all the sections. also the sounds were annoying when you found an item. i turned it off and was still hit with "BINGO" every time you found something. over all there are better games out there and i would recommend giving this one a pass.
Pros - Beautiful drawings. - Variety of characters. - There is an option to mute the "Yay" sound if you feel annoyed with every celebration for what you found. Cons - Some of the hints are not really useful. For example, Mike is a dog. The hint to find the bone is "This is Mike's favourite thing." I think small objects such as bones or cupcakes should have a specific hint compared to looking for a human being due to the differences in size. - Lack of balance. No matter if the level has a small or big map area, I still need to wait for 6 minutes to get the magnifier tool to find the hidden object. I think 6 minutes for a large map is a bit harsh. Now I understand the reason for some of the negative reviews about the magnifier feature. Although I rarely use the magnifier feature, I have to spend more time in the larger map to look for the hidden objects and think twice before using the magnifier. Despite feeling slightly annoyed to look for objects in a large area, I still quite enjoyed the game. I really love the drawings and the characters. I think the only problem is the execution of the idea. I think it would be better if the timer for the magnifier tool in the large map were…
