About Space Ducks: The great escape
Space Ducks: The great escape is part of the CosmOS 9 bundle, a set of 9 puzzle games discovered on a mysterious, alien video game console drifting through outer space.
In this cosmic puzzle adventure, help a lost tribe of duck-people in their millennial quest for a stable world!
In Space Ducks: The great escape, complete challenging Sokoban-like puzzles, by moving the Space Ducks in the right sequence, in order to reach the power source their ship requires and travel to the next planet.

But tread lightly, as walking on loose ground will propel into space what ever is standing on the other side. One duck's progress could mean another duck´s demise!

And even if a duck goes solo (years of living on precarious planets have turned the ducks into a somewhat callous people), remember that their is no escaping gravity and that one false move could bring your mission to a crashing conclusion.
6Toad Games is a game making collective based in Barcelona, Spain.
Space Ducks: The great escape was made by Fernando García (@Taletronic), Clare Pearce (@FishTaod) and Groovel Studio (@GroovelStudio).
With the participation of artist Polyducks (@Polyducks), who kindly brought space travel to our Ducks, in the shape of a lean, mean, shiny low-polygon mesh.

+ Interesting puzzle mechanics (Sokoban meets Microgravity?) + Nice puzzles (not too easy, not too difficult) + Kinda cute (I mean they are ducks in space, how can they NOT be cute) - A bit short (only 18 levels) - No level selection? Why???2 found this helpful
Painfully slow game, running at locked 144FPS on a good PC. Nice puzzles but I can't really take much more of it.1 found this helpful
Probably my favourite game from the CosmOS9 bundle. It looks good and plays fairly well, though I don't like the sluggish movement of the ducks. Aside from that, though, there is some thought put into the game. You have to control your ducks to get to the blue space ore to power your rocket, and then move them to the rocket to leave. The problem is that every block, aside from the rocks, gets pushed when you step on it, which leads to some creative puzzles. It is pretty short and I wanted more from it, but for what it is, it is probably the best game in the bundle!1 found this helpful
fun and short, wish there was a level select or some kind of indication how far along you were ingame
Satisfying puzzler, with some minor flaws. Get it as part of the CosmOS 9 bundle. Closest comparison is something like Snakebird but it's definitely different. The controls are a bit strange. The up/down/left/right controls would make more sense if only one worked for each move, however often two of the 4 will work. This is probably intended to make it easier to move, but it often just means you have to undo a bit more often. The levels are complex but not complicated. They don't take too many moves to solve, but some of them you can trial and error a long time. Ironically, I think the later levels are a bit better in this regard, so once you get past "The Corner Stone" or so the game smooths out. Some of the puzzles are solved in just a couple moves, and those are quite satisfying. Once you've made it past all the puzzles, you can "next" through them to get back to them, but a true level select would be welcome. The music is nice but very repetitive.
No time for a review so I give this game a rank C. Okay game - not bad but you can skip it or try on sale. See my profile for more details about my reviews. Additional notes: bought with the CosmOS 9 BUNDLE. Neat little puzzler, gets very thinky very quick. Smart puzzle but very basic design and UI.
