About Space Hole 2016
Warning: Please take caution if you have problems with seizures or similar issues! This game features many flashing bright lights!
Will you enter the SPACE HOLE?
Can you traverse the LEVELS?
SPACE HOLE is a silly and or bouncy interpretation of Super Monkey Ball; but in the Mysterious Space. A single-player adventure through over 100 levels, split into hubs like Hell and the Eyeballs Dimension. Levels are bite-sized and arcadey, with an overall run time around 2 or 3 hours.
In the near future, humans discover the missing piece for faster-than-light travel: giant glass spheres.
All we needed to break the light-barrier was the light-ball... and now we've done it.
Alone in your capsule, you venture into the deepest reaches of Space... through the SPACE HOLE.
Music is from Beverly Crusher's Cheeseburger Liquor Party (2015) and Pills Pills Pills (2016).
Supports gamepad (eg Xbox 360 pad) or mouse & keyboard!
Graphical settings that will work for most computers!

Indie arcade game where you control a ball through surreal space levels, focusing on dexterity and physics ✅Awesome soundtrack, very dynamic, I like it ✅Over 100 different, easy levels ✅Very good price ✅Good, colorful graphics ❌Poor ball control on keyboard and mouse (I recommend using a gamepad). ❌The difficulty level is random. Level 100 can be significantly easier than, for example, level 10. ❌The camera sometimes makes control difficult. ✅✅ Verdict: [strike] Very Bad [/strike] ,[strike] Bad [/strike] , [strike] Average [/strike] , [b] Decent [/b] , [strike] Good [/strike] , [strike] Very Good [/strike] (Rating scale for tested games) If you have any questions about my reviews, feel free to ask. Space Hole 2016 is an independent physics-based platformer developed by Sam Atlas and published by Mr. Sam Atlas. Inspired by classic marble-rolling games, it places players inside a transparent sphere that serves as humanity's experimental method of traveling faster than light. The premise is intentionally bizarre, sending players through strange dimensions connected by the mysterious Space Hole while embracing an offbeat sense of humor and an imaginative science-fiction setting. Rather than focusing on an elaborate storyline, the game builds its appeal around unusual environments, creative level design, and the simple satisfaction of mastering momentum-driven movement. At its heart, the experience revolves around guiding the rolling sphere through a series of increasingly demanding obstacle courses. Every stage requires careful control of speed, balance, and timing, making momentum just as important as precision. The game features well over one hundred levels spread across multiple themed hub worlds, each introducing fresh layouts and environmental hazards that prevent the gameplay from becoming repetitive. While individual stages are relatively short, they encourage experimenta…
This is my hole, it was made for me. I had to forcibly stop myself from playing after clearing the first few areas so that I would not lose myself in flow state.
Space Hole 2016 is a bizarre, goofy, and sometimes scary experience. From the moment you launch the game it sets the tone pretty well - I don't even really want to describe it just because it made me laugh so hard realizing how I'd be controlling the "character", and since the game is literally about a dollar at full price, I'd say just buy it if the screenshots intrigue you at all. That being said, I will give some broad pros and cons just to give a bit more of an idea what you're getting into. PROS + As you probably saw in the screenshots, many of the levels nail the feeling that you're in a playable Bryce 3D render. If not that, they feel surreal in their own right even if they boil down to "a bunch of shapes put together" due to the lighting and scale they tend to have. A handful of levels are just outright unnerving - like you're having a bad trip, as cliched as it sound (though this is largely due to these levels [spoiler]having the lighting make it hard to see where you're going at points [i]plus[/i] the music being replaced by eerie droning ambiance.[/spoiler]) + The music system in the game is equally odd. The hub levels are nice ambient tracks (minus a couple late-gam…
i beat all 116 levels (plus the secret first level the dev made) and this game is truly something lmao a lot of games i see often have mid-games that dip in quality and this game is no exception, i'd say the first 3 to 4 worlds are pretty alright, then the next couple (especially hell, can't believe it myself) have some pretty bad level design, and the final couple worlds aren't as bad as the middle couple but not as good as the first couple, a lot of levels near the end of the game require tightrope walking (or rolling) which just isn't really fun. however, you do get used to the momentum of the ball by that point, and with bombs, a lot of the levels can be cheesed which actually does make the endgame definitely more fun. still inconsistent and frustrating at times but pretty fun all things considered if you enjoy trying to beat things in unintended ways, this game is for you the controls aren't very great, it's hard to control your momentum a lot of times but you do get used to it after playing it enough, it's just unnatural, though i think the biggest issue is the camera. it is always so close to you, and while you can adjust the sensitivity, the max sensitivity is very slow sti…
