Hello friends, Today i will review the game Sparkle 4 Tales. This game is in the same series as sparkle zero, sparkle 2 EVO, and sparkle 3 genesis. In this game, it is the same as the others, except they added a full size area that you can seamlessly teleport to different maps. This means it is really easy to get lost in the game due to no maps. The other problem with this game is the music. The music is really nice, but there is a bug that makes 2 music tracks that play at the same time. This is a headache inducing bug. They also try to add a story to the game where a narrator (which is unread) tells you things and tries to help you. Anyways, here are my pro/cons: PROS: - Gorgeous graphics. - Beautiful music. - The game developers tried a different approach to this game compared to other sparkle games. CONS: - Music bug that leads to headaches because 2 music tracks will play at same time. - The open world is so open, it is easy to get confused what and where to go next. A small mini map would of been helpful in this aspect. The fact the music bug exists in the game is a very negative point to me. It actually physically gave me a headache while playing the game. Possibly the worst of series. The game breaks very easely. Due to the large amount of open nothingness and "cracks" youre supposed to go through, you'll never know if you're going to the void or next checkpoint because the devs for whatever reason didnt decide to make actual borders in the map. If you decide to backtrack (which many who wants to 100% does) you risk breaking the game again by phasing out of the game, not allowing you to progress because youre stuck in that "floor". The arrow thats supposed to "guide" you breaks and get stuck at one position. The sound (effects) is completely broken. Its like it doesnt care what volume your pc is set on, because it blasts your speakers/ headset to 100% and there's no option to turn this off. This is the first experience you get playing the game almost breaking your eardrums. Remove this game from steam asap.10 found this helpful

A slightly more streamlined entry to the series, but still fundamentally broken and unsatisfying in its progression. 2.8/10
You know, this is one of those games where it's such a mixed bag that it would be better if Steam had a "Maybe Recommend" option. If you've seen my previous reviews on the Sparkle series, then you already know what I'm going to cover but if not, here's a recap. Overview Sparkle 4: Tales is the fourth entry in the Sparkle series published by Forever Entertainment and boy, it's definitely a step up from the previous two entries of Sparkle 3: Genesis and Sparkle: ZERO. You play as a serpentine creature called a Sparkle and through consuming resources called Elements, you can transform into one of three forms, each with their own unique ability. The Carnivore has a Lunge ability that grants a burst of speed and locks onto nearby Elements. The Omnivore has an Inhale ability that pulls surrounding Elements towards you for mass consumption. The Herbivore has a Shield ability that renders you invincible to all damage for a limited time. Your overarching goal is to reach the maximum level and defeat a colossal creature called the Leviathan while exploring the Shadow Void using vortexes to travel between depth levels. What's Better? 01: THEY FINALLY FIXED THE CAMERA!!!…
