About Spellcrafter
Magic is not an art or religion. Magic is a craft.
Experience an amazing and unforgettable adventure set in a dark fantasy universe!
Spellcrafter is an RPG game with deep tactical turn-based combat and a unique spell casting system. Explore the magical world, collect gold, interact with NPCs, take quests and make moral choices! Recruit heroes, assemble and summon powerful troops and send them into battle!
The unique feature of Spellcrafter is the spell casting system. The game recognizes the sign you draw on the screen and automatically chooses the appropriate spell from the spellbook. If you don’t remember the correct sign you are able to consult the spellbook, but beware! Reaching for the spellbook takes additional time and the quicker you cast your spell, the more powerful it will be!

The game is divided into 3 acts. Each act tells a part of a compelling and magical story about the nature of reality, power and morality. Additionally, each act features 3 levels with a different setting and a different playable character (human, necromancer, elf).
Information / Review English
Spellcrafter is a tactical strategy game developed by Jujubee S.A.
Gameplay
The magic system is one of the special properties of Spellcrafter. It recognizes characters that the player draws on the display and automatically selects the desired spell from the magic book. If you don't remember the sign, you can always look it up in the spell book. If you leaf through the spellbook, it takes longer, and the faster you cast a spell, the stronger it is. The game is divided into three acts. Each act tells part of the story about the nature of reality, power and morality. In addition, each act is divided into 3 levels with different settings and different heroes (human, necromancer, elf).
Pro
+ good approaches + Achievements
Contra
- lots of bugs around - boring story - Punctuation doesn't always work - opponent too strong
Conclusion
Spellcrafter has many good approaches, but unfortunately the whole game seems unfinished and therefore takes all the fun out of it. No recommendation.
Information/Review Deutsch
Spellcrafter ist ein taktisches Strategie-Spiel, welches von Jujubee S.A entw…19 found this helpful
Excellent game ! *Highly* recommended ! Below I'll explain where the SAVEGAMES are kept. And give some help for winning too. **This was a total surprise** as I didn't expect much given the old reviews. BUT, evidently the devs worked hard and fixed and upgraded beautifully the game, as I found it engrossing and found *zero* problems. Not one. Well, only a couple time the girl was stuck, in one I backtracked and there she was again. The other time I had to quit, and reloading the game, there she was ok by the hero. Yes, it gets hard eventually, I don't know why many devs shoot their feet upping the difficulty. Why, all devs, why ? But I use Cheat Engine with all my games: In this one, the combat timer is FLOAT, search 1.0000 before entering combat, then in combat let the red bar decrease, pause, search Decreased Value, with pause still on, search Unchanged Value, unpause and let it decrease a 2nd time, search Decrease Again, repeat, etc. the desired address always end with an 8. Once found, copy below and put 1 in the value, and freeze the value ticking the box. Gold, 4 bytes, exact, 99,000. The address always end in 0. Number of troops, 4 bytes, exact, never search in combat…6 found this helpful
If you're looking for a King's Bounty lite, this game is an absolute steal on sale in my opinion, even off sale I think it has value. Charming graphics, atmosphere shaping music, simple gameplay and satisfying turn-based combat. It also has a fun spell drawing feature that isn't ground-breaking or anything, but makes the combat feel more engaging. It also plays surprisingly well on the Steam Deck for a mouse-only game. Usually I avoid those, but it feels comfortable, mostly due to the simple gameplay and the touchscreen that works perfectly for spell casting. I haven't played a great deal yet, but I love what's on offer so far and plan to play more in time. Especially when I get a King's Bounty itch but want a more casual session. This game doesn't have huge amounts of depth or complexity and feels more like an adventure game with light turn-based combat mechanics, but there's no way it deserves a mostly negative rating - love was clearly put into the development of this game.5 found this helpful
