Spider Caro

Spider Caro is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one seems to be both genuinely and badly made, with poor quality assets, 1990's Web 1.0 textures, and some pretty janky gameplay as you (badly) control a spider, you can walk on walls and shoot webs, and you just need to go on and negotiate some really poorly laid out platformer levels filled with very low quality amateur assets. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, in some places they appear mismatched... Ultimately the quality of these assets, and thus the overall visual quality is lower than average, and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience.
