Spirit Talk has been such a lovely experience. You play as Julia, a young witch who helps people reconnect with loved ones who have passed on, while also navigating her own grief. It genuinely has felt like a warm hug in game form. It’s a gentle, emotional visual novel that has brought me to tears and has left me remembering loved ones who are no longer here. What I have enjoyed most has been how gently the game approaches themes like loss, acceptance and healing. Each client’s story has felt heartfelt without ever becoming too heavy, and helping them find peace feels special. The spell-making mechanic is very simple but fun, and the characters are charming. The cozy art style and relaxing music creates such a warm, comforting atmosphere. I have also loved getting to know the neighbors around Julia’s shop, it has made the world feel a little more alive in a really sweet way. It doesn’t rely on big choices or challenging gameplay. It is a short visual novel that you can finish in one sitting. You're Julia, a young girl who discovers that she has magical powers and can contact spirits, including her recently deceased mom Cynthia. Cynthia appears before Julia shortly after this discovery and explains how to use her powers and that Julia can take over Cynthia's shop, which involves helping out clients by summoning their loved ones and creating spells to assist them. Although Julia is uncertain as to whether she's up to the task, she agrees to take on the task. As to the gameplay, the story is mostly linear. Some choices are presented when Julia encounters other shopkeepers on the street before she enters her shop. However, the choices only slightly change the flavor text. It's really the interactions with clients that take up the bulk of the gameplay. Clients range from a granddaughter missing her grandmother to a wife worried about her missing partner. Nos encontramos ante un juego bastante tranquilo; si buscas una novel visual para relajarte, es una gran elección. Nuestra historia consiste en ayudar a nuestra protagonista a contactar con los familiares ya fallecidos de la gente del pueblo. Esto crea una atmósfera de pequeñas historias interesantes con distintas dinámicas y que dejan muy buen sabor de boca. Totalmente recomendado si buscas relajarte y dejar salir las emociones.

Lovely cozy and relaxing narrative game 😊❤️ Definitely worth the try if that is your vibe. Also feels like a pretty good game to play with younger kids, particularly if you want to broach some harder subjects like death and grief in a very gentle manner.

A beautiful visual novel, with a delightful story. The images are all hand drawn and are just lovely. Keep in mind this is a visual novel, there are not many game play elements involved, so if you are not keen on a cozy read, this may not be for you. I thoroughly enjoyed the progression, story and magical elements. I recommend this lovely visual novel for anyone who wants a beautiful and slow journey through love, loss and the afterlife - it plays like a warm cup of tea <3

It was fun but I only did one playthrough. I didn't see the epilogue or anything but I'm satisfied. It is expensive I'm not going to lie and repetitive and a little frustrating cuz I could only 15/21 achievements without really paying attention but it's touching and touched my heart which is what I like in these kinds of sentimental sweet not so hard visual novels. It's very good but it is expensive. I say it's worth it maybe on sale if you are lazy and don't like to get all the achievements.
