Splash Jump

"Splash Jump" is an odd one. It certainly [i]looks[/i] like it's your typical asset flip - and it is. But at the same time it's not as the used asset is not the same game at all. It took me a while to find the asset in question because the source code is barely more than a few lines but a Github search revealed the store asset used: it's [url=https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/tap-3-match-2d-game-template-195234]Tap 3 Match 2D Game Template[/url] by Neptun Digital. If you compare the images posted on the store with those on Steam you'll see several similarities. However, the actual [i]game[/i] here has nothing to do with that asset at all which leads me to believe the "developer" here simply stole the source code - after all it's posted on Github even though that's a copyright violation in itself - and used it as a framework for their own implementation. That's a new one even for me. The "game" is the simplest possible one-button jumper that might have been popular back when the iPhone was new - on PC however, in the current day and age, it's certainly nothing you'd want to spend money on. I would not even call this thing a game – it is just press one mouse button to jump until you fail trash. Tetris was created in 1984 and this trash was created in 2021 but even in 1984 something like this would be considered just a pointless trash when compared to Tetris. I also love how positive reviews are from accounts with almost no games and no reviews. Totally looks like I give you a game and you give me a positive review scam. [h1]Conclusion[/h1] You don’t ever want to play it. Anything is more fun than this. Go outside and kick a rock to have more fun. Overall score 0/10
