Stackmon

I think, this game is very enjoyable, even though there are some points, that could have been better. First of all the Stackmons look good and traveling through the world is fun. There are some unique quests, which are making gameplay varied. What I personally think is a little bit unnecessary is the mechanic, that you can combine two buildings of the same type and get a +1 version of it, which has better stats and is treated like a new discovered card. The list of undiscovered items seems larger that it is, which has been for me a disappointment, when I figuered out, that there aren't as many items to discovere as I first thought. I think, one of the most enjoyable part of games like this is the discovery of unknow thinks by just combining stuff together until one combination is finally succesful, but maybe that's just my opinion. Also I think, it would be fun, if you could combine different types of Stackmon together to get unique fusions - that could add so much more potential to the game! Nevertheless I recommend this game. It is not very difficult and I just spend 17 hours to 100 % it, but for that time I had fun until the end. I really hope there will be more upda…

Good and interesting stackmon designs, a bit of a generic storyline but it works well enough! I found the battle aspects and varying boss fights pretty lackluster, though, and it was pretty easy to just bulldoze through enemies with minimal effort by leaning on type matchups. Some of the evolutions and build components are not very straightforward and there's not much to tell you how to evolve them so you do just start slapping some cards on top of each other and hoping; something works; you can pull recipes from card packs and people out on the map but even after beating the game and pulling every available pack card I was missing a lot of recipes so there's a lot of trial and error to be done to find certain things. The most difficult part was probably dealing with Soot-infected areas due tot he debuffs and with how cards knock each other around but not anything unbearable. All-in-all this is one of the easier creature collector-like games I've played and could be perfect to introduce someone to an easier level creature collecting rogue-like.

I like the art and the instant sense of familiarity that just hooks you from the start. I think there is potential for some improvements, but the devs seem to be responding pretty fast with patches and balance updates.

This game is so much fun, I like stackable card games and this one is perfect! Since it doesn't have a countdown timer or a limit of cards, you can spend as much time as you want and having as many cards as you need! And I just love the creature collecting mechanic and exploration. Absolutely recommended!

Fun stacking experience, easy to learn, but really hard to get information outside the game, maybe because its a new game so the wiki still doesnt help about stackmon location, locked recipe, etc.
