This game has aged beautifully, whilst teh base game is fun in iteself, where it really shiens is in the modpacks, You can do naything from survival gamemodes to full campaigns or just pit two customised fleets agaisnt eachother. I highly recomend.
Pretty good base game, FoC is an obvious upgrade. I do recommend downloading mods, either for messing around/testing or you just want to be in a different era or have more ships.
Great with mods love this game and is fun to play off and on, it can run a lot of computers. That said, the base game is very dated and the textures and animations are old, though mods like awakening of the rebellion will make it look a little better.
