About STEEL HEART
STEEL HEART is a first-person horror mech game where you have to manage the mech's resources and fend off and survive the dangers that lie on the alien planet that constantly rains steel...
In the mech, you have to craft shells to load and fire, craft light sources, and maneuver the mech to face entities. You are also in charge with logging entities.
If your mechs energy shield takes enough damage the mech will need to reboot, and you are thrust outside with nothing but your pistol, and your will to survive.
The planet you land on is unforgiving. It is perpetually dark. It continuously rains steel. You are always not alone.
Your mission is to find out if the planet is habitable for humanity, by logging all entities you encounter. Do this, and you are promised freedom...
The game has 3 endings, and the game is also relatively short. Try to get them all.
The game also has difficult STEEL MODE, to play STEEL MODE click on the title during the main menu.

Cute 2D Iron Lung, more like an art project for a little twist at the end, it's extremely short. I do like the game actually, at least on the conceptual level, the main reason the review is negative is because I think it needs some QOL adjustments and a few patches to fix occasional glitches, and to be honest I think the game missed some really nice opportunities, I think the dev could have done a lot more with it. It's actually only 5 to 10 minutes long, there should be a few optional endings but I could not figure out how to trigger them, aside from the default one you get at the end. As these games usually go you in some strange place, operating a machine or 'mech' in this case with limited visibility. Inside the mech you can do some simple actions like crafting ammo, rotating the hud, moving forward and recording the life forms. Given the low $2 price of the game I don't want to complain about length, it's more so that I feel the part of the game where you discover creatures could have been a lot more fun if it kept going for at least 20 minutes. The atmosphere and the mood were done relatively well, good choices of sound effects overall, that said, considering that you worki…12 found this helpful
