Stop Breaking My Castle!

Interesting game concept, reminds me of old custom Warcraft 3 defense maps I used to play back in old days. The pros: + Fun, quick paced game, perfect for time-killer + Simple, easy to understand + Art is cute + Interesting tactical approach of each character + Play as villainess demon queen! Because being good guy is boring lol The cons: - No explanation about the unit advantages, armor and attack type (the rock, paper, scissor thing) - No bestiaries or info about the enemies you fought - It's auto battler so you can't tell your units to hold position, good luck getting Recall spell on level up - There is no UI that show unit max attack range - Grind-ish early game, you need to buy some abilities upgrade Suggestions: > Add more map variations, difficulty select, different game mode (campaign series with stories, survival, challenge, etc) > A character that boost elf / dark elf units > More unit variations, unit upgrade tree feel lack variation (a magician that focus on AOE, support heal, debuffer or an assassin that can instant short range teleport to enemy ignoring obstacles etc. for example) > Add summon turret / tower or support building using building cap limit > More utilit…

It's aight, but it can get pretty boring and grindy pretty fast. Koreans love high APM gameplay, but the low summon/mana energy income contradicts that by not allowing much room for skill expression. But since it's free, it's aight. The in-game achievement complete 10 quests is also bugged. I have completed all quests but it doesn't count the achievement.

interesting concept. its a reverse rougelike. instead of being the hero taking on hordes of monsters, youre the monster leader (queen) and you summon monsters to defeat the heroes and protect your castle. when you first start out you will more than likely get stomped into the ground. as you progress and do more runs you earn money to buy upgrades and eventually you will more than likely hold off the heroes but since im just starting out ive been getting my butt whooped by the heroes! im sure it will be fun to stomp the heroes after you get strong enough to hold them off but getting your butt whooped is never a good time. if you enjoy rougelikes and anime style art with pixel graphics this is gonna be right up your alley.

Stop Breaking My Castle! is a really fun idea because it completely flips the usual fantasy adventure setup. Instead of being the hero invading a dungeon, I play as the Demon Lord trying to protect a peaceful castle from heroes who keep coming in and destroying everything. I liked that perspective immediately because it gives the usual monster versus hero story a much more humorous angle. The main gameplay revolves around summoning monsters and placing them around the castle before the heroes arrive. Once the fight begins, the monsters battle automatically, so my biggest responsibility is making good decisions before the action starts. I enjoyed this because positioning matters more than simply reacting during the fight. Placing the right creature in the right location can make a huge difference. Evolution gives the system some satisfying progression. My monsters can become stronger as I collect experience and resources, and defeating invading heroes gives me gold that can be used to improve my defenses.
