Sugar Sweet Temptation

[i]Sugar Sweet Temptation[/i] is a bishojo, slice-of-life visual novel developed by Recette and published by Love Lab, Inc. You take on the role of an amnesiac young adult male who lands on the roof of Folkroll, a renowned bakery in the small, snowy town of Fueya. Meru and Kori, the young ladies who live in Folkroll, discover you and take you in, and after a bit of investigation (which involves finding a business card), they decide to call you Crow Yamada. Soon after this episode in which Crow has no memory of who he is or how he arrived in Fueya, he learns that Folkroll is in danger of being shut down and possibly sold off. It turns out that Meru's grandfather, who is the owner of Folkroll, has been hospitalized for quite some time, and since he's the only baker, Folkroll had to close its doors. Witnessing the severity of the situation and especially seeing how distressed Meru and Kori are, Crow decides to help them out by becoming the new baker of Folkroll. Despite his amnesia, Crow seems to have a knack for baking, and perhaps his timely presence might just be enough to sav…

I like little girls

It's a wholesome slice of life VN with adorable art featuring three cute girls who bake (and eat) a lot of delicious cakes. What's not to love?

Good art and voice acting, decent lenght too, the common route wasn't super interesting but the individual routes are worth to play at least once. Grab the free patch as well. I wasn't a big fan of the translation, too many liberties were taken, for example turning clear one liners into entire sentences, or in Chocolat's case giving her French lines when she is clearly using Japanese.

Sugar Sweet Temptation, like its name, offers a sweet experience. The characters are all likeable, and there was some drama, but just like a chocolate cake, it left behind a sweet aftertaste once the problems were solved. The characters’ designs and CGs drawn by Shiratama are exceptional. As a fan of Moe drawing style, there is no greater pleasure than reading a VN with one of my favorite artists as the illustrator. For a story mainly about F&B service, there are surprisingly many emotional moments that brought tears to my eyes, albeit happy ones. This is a story about miracles and happiness, a story that brings joy to its readers.
