About Super Loco World - Cozy Train Automation
Welcome to Super Loco World! As the freshly-minted transport tycoon around these parts, you’ll need to build up a rail network, manage train traffic, and keep the goods flowing to meet the growing demands of an ever-evolving world!
Embrace automation🚦
Your trains need more than just a route from you! Control their speeds carefully, manage rail junctions, and eventually automate the process using some very handy rail signals, including:- Signposts to direct trains carrying different goods in different directions.
- Logic-based stop signs to help you manage congested areas.
- Traffic lights to control the flow of trains into stations.
Effortless building 🚧
Forget about the fiddly side of crafting complex railroad systems in other train tycoon games. Instead, use your cursor like a painter’s brush and let the game automatically figure out T-junctions, bridges, or even curved rails!Realistic train behaviour 🚂
Build your depot to create new trains, and bring them back whenever you want to add or remove carriages. Just watch out for traffic jams along the way, as each train's fuel supply is as precious as its cargo. Keep this in mind when designing your railway network. The greater the distance between points of interest, the higher your fuel bills!A dynamic economy 📉
Every game world and its resources are randomly generated, giving you a fresh experience with every new run. Once a village’s basic needs have been met, you’ll need to expand your rail network to meet their increasing demands. As the number of trains in your fleet and the amount of resources you are gathering increases the balancing act between profit and loss becomes more challenging. Remember, the first thing you learn in train tycoon school is that revenue minus costs must equal profit! Super Loco World's relaxing pace, soothing music and effortless construction belie an in-game economy that will test even the shrewdest businessperson and automation savvy industrialist. What Steam players say

the game is annoying and the 'story' mode isn't really a story as far as i can tell. Needs to be made more user friendly, many times it seems to require seeing the future (which is annoying when the mission says to do something you will soon regret.) and has no real way to undo mistakes "oh my train is full of wood but the town isn't taking much wood? can i do anything else with it? Nope just waste gas, or block the station and wait i guess.1 found this helpful
Cute, cozy train automation game. "Campaign" was finished for me after 2 hours, last achievement after 2 and half. The challenge is to manage throughput at train stations, especially the one in the central city which requires the final products. Often the mechanics of the game feel more frustrating than challenging while trying to progress. Difficult to recommend a 10€ game that can be finished in one short session, is quite easy and linear and more often frustrating that giving you joy if something works out. Might be worth it on deep sale.
I liked this game at the start, but as it progresses, it just makes less sense, and is too frustrating to progress. I really tried to keep on trying various things to move forward, but the game doesn't really help you at all, and I could not see a way, without rebuilding everything, to make it to the 'next' level. In the end, it just wasn't fun anymore.
After 9 hours I give up. The game is fun, but there are several things that annoy me nonstop as I play that just... feel like they shouldn't be problems. First: the grid system. Grid systems are awesome in concept, but if each square is too big then it can cause issues. Each tile can be placed 1 piece of track and either an automatic switcher to operate the switches, OR a signal to automate traffic flow, or a stop sign or a speed adjuster. I hadn't even gotten to trying out those last two. Now for the problem. Say you want to keep things neat and tidy and compact, only you need so much bloody space in order to accommodate everything. Every junction needs at least 3 tiles for everything. One for the switch track, one for the auto switcher, and one for the signal to control oncoming traffic. This means if you keep things relatively close, like my 2 wheat fields were, and eventually want to expand to allow traffic to flow through the system because you built your Capital all the way south but now need a sofa factory all the way north, and you built your mainline as 2 parallel lines between the wheat fields and the Capital, it's impossible to simply build past that point because of al…
I bought the game for my kid who loves trains and stayed because its really fun. Its the perfect cozy game for me, I didn't find the controls difficult at all and its one of those games you can play for hours on end.
Great simple game. signals and random waiting is frustrating but easy to eventually understand but def can cause bounce away from game
