This just in, local sushi obsessed man with limited vocabulary (that doesn't involve sushi) has been seen exploding due to lack of cramming sushi into his mouth. Jokes aside, this game is just unusual, involving a man with nothing better to do than to eat sushi travels the multiverse to stop some douche trying to rewrite the concept of sushi for confusing and frankly stupid reasons set to an anime plot and music thats uncalled for in an over the top way (But knowing Japan, this was probably intended. The controls are straightforward and the style is decent. If you want to have fun with sushi and pure nonsense, this is a game worth checking out.

After completing all of the Souls games, I was itching for more. And this was exactly the "Souls" game I was looking for. Nah, but fr. This game didn't need to go as hard as it does. The mechanics are simple but levels grow in complexity. The stakes are huge. The soundtrack is fire. The voice acting is passionate. And most importantly, the sushi is delicious. All the elements that make it as funny as it is keep what's otherwise a simple collectathon from being repetitive or boring. これは、クソゲーじゃない。新しい美術だぜ。 EDIT: Apparently, Steam's got a new feature that asks you after a few additional hours of gameplay if you've changed your mind. For this game specifically, yes I did. I like it even more now. Late game levels get even more challenging, and the final fight is even more insane and was even more hilarious than I thought it'd be. The only thing that's upsetting about this game is how much it makes me wanna eat sushi now, and there ain't anywhere decent nearby for miles. 悲しい、この状況。寿司食べ放題がめっちゃ欲しい...　俺は、死ぬぜ…
