Customize your spin-top (Or 'Sword') and battle against others just like you to disginguish yourself from your peers! In the arena you can smash into your opponents to deal damage, or throw them over the edge to defeat them and claim victory for yourself.
Customize your sword to compliment your own playstyle, boosting your speed, attack, defense, knockback, weight, and health, to take down the competition. Find out which combo best suits you, or counter the choices of your enemies.
The customization is a great part of the game, partly because of the different stat boosts it will grant you, but also because it's much better to beat your opponent while looking cool, rather than looking bland in the arena.
The gameplay is based around the physics of spintops. The controls can give a bit of a harsh learning curve, but if you stay determined you'll easily figure out how to control your sword and swoop the legs out from under your opponents and push them into the jaws of defeat!

Suwarudo is an abandoned Early Access 2D top down arena brawler with a gimmick, it's a loose ripoff of Beyblades or whatever spinning top toys the kids are playing with. The objective is to bash your spinning top into other spinning tops until you're the last one spinning. There's a few powerups to spin over that helps spice things up. You know what doesn't spice up video gaming? Spinning top games. Anyway there's local multiplayer or an arcade mode where you can bash your spinning top game against AI spinning tops. The vs AI mode is crucial because if you're a grown adult who likes 2D retro spinning top games, then everyone knows you don't have any friends. This sad axiom does make the multiplayer mode somewhat redundant as a feature. Anyway the developer abandoned this mess a year after launching in EA with no plans, intention or capability to complete it, and it's been abandoned for at least two years now. It isn't even truly free as the developer indicates an intention to charge money for it (if it ever got finished, which won't happen). The generally poor quality of the game combined with the abandoned nature of it makes this unrecommendable.3 found this helpful

this game has a very fun concept but unfortunately it's left in an unfinished state. the single player worked for me but unfortunately i was unable to get 2 controllers working to play the multiplayer
