I don't know what everyones problem is. The game plays pretty much like most Online/Coop games similar to League, Overwatch and such. Hop in, run Quests, run Raid Bosses, do Story Missions, grind out cosmetic item drops, level up. I haven't seen a paid battle pass yet, but a free one with no options to pay for it, with nice rewards. And the other store items are cosmetics or material packs that are as pointless as Capcom microtransactions. Honestly, if you are simply after a game to play a few rounds in a rotation of other games with friends, this is as valid as any other option.6 found this helpful

Great game
uh yeah, i mean... sword art online.
This game is good, but not for everyone. This is a live service game with an entry fee and an ingame store. at the time of writing this review the game added omega lvl skills for your gear so its very active. Story is there and is kinda mid, but the meat of this game is multiplayer. There is cross-play and whenever you cant fill the full slots it fills it with bots. Nowadays there is almost always events of player and character rank so the grind is not as bad as it was before but is grindy and for me that is not a bad thing (see playtime). There is a battle pass and it is free, and most of the stuff in the in-game store (except new characters and a few other boosts) you can get with tickets from the battlepass but will take quite a while since most nice things cost a couple of tickets or real money which is expensive for what it is (the good old alternate currency trap is alive and well in this game). Take this review with a grain of salt, but if you enjoy grindy anime games from scamco bandAIDS you might enjoy this too
