This game has both good points and bad points. First the good points. Most of the gameplay was fun. I enjoyed the first levels of puzzles. Interestingly enough, they were broken up with creating bento boxes, making and serving boba tea and various other puzzles. That was a nice touch to break up the repetitive puzzles. The graphics weren’t bad. They weren’t stellar but they sufficed. One positive note is that it played flawlessly from my external hard drive. Most games will not. I have to move them from my hard drive over to my internal drive to play them. BRAVO that this one doesn't require that!!! I spent nearly 10 hours playing and finishing this game. Obviously, I enjoyed the puzzles...to a point. More on that. Now for the bad points. The English translation (which is written dialogue) isn’t precise. Words are missing, punctuation omitted and words incorrectly used to name a few mistakes. Interestingly, when you hear the creatures “talk,” it sounds very much like the creatures who talk in Animal Crossing. I kept wanting to quit and go play ACNH! Several times a character’s dialogue was very long and it advanced to the next screen without me getting a chance to read it. Therefo…

You know what I really freaking hate? When you're playing what's supposed to be a relaxing logic puzzle game and then suddenly they decide that the final levels have to be against a clock. And then they set the clock at an absurdly low time. And then they make them staged levels where if you screw up a later stage, you get booted all the way back to the first stage. And then they change the individual stage puzzles so that you can't gain from having previously completed them. Can I do this sort of thing? Yes. Is this what I started playing the game for? Absolutely not. "Relax"... "challenge your mind"... "cozy"... "logic puzzle"... How about reading your own store page description?

Tails of Trainspot is a calm, methodical, and quietly charming puzzle adventure that blends classic logic challenges with gentle worldbuilding and a cozy sense of exploration. Developed by Poly Poly Games in collaboration with Kibi Games and published by indie.io, the game invites players into the Packan Islands, a tranquil archipelago inhabited by friendly animal characters and connected through a growing railway network. Rather than pushing urgency or high-stakes drama, the experience is built around patience, observation, and the steady satisfaction of solving well-crafted puzzles at your own pace. The core gameplay revolves around railway logic puzzles inspired by number-connection mechanics. Each map presents a grid dotted with stations, each marked by a number that dictates exactly how many rail connections it must have. Tracks can only be placed horizontally or vertically, they cannot intersect improperly, and all stations must ultimately be connected into a single functioning network. The rules are immediately easy to understand, but the challenge emerges from how tightly the puzzles are constructed. As maps grow more complex, space becomes limited and every placement matt…

Tails of Trainspot is a small puzzle game based of the japanese puzzle game called Hashi where you have to connect a set of train stations with rails. It is small and not that hard, but well made with well working controlls. the initial angle of view is a bit flat so I suggest too adjust it in each level first to a top down view which makes it easier to see the puzzle. I grabbed the title in a sale and I am not unhappy about it. If the price is too much for you out of sale for 3-4 hours of entertainment, just set a wishlist and wait for a sale.

https://youtu.be/7OkQrNAkORQ Delightful setting and characters are great, but the rather simplistic puzzle design doesn't carry the primary elements of the game.
