- Story Campaign: Journey across six vivid islands and embark on the adventure of becoming a Temtem tamer while fighting against the evil Clan Belsoto.
- Online World: The days of traveling solo are over. In the vibrant, always-online world of Temtem, tamers from around the world can be seen all around you, living the adventure with you, interacting with you, and fighting to become the best Temtem tamer.
- Co-Op Adventure: You will be able to join forces with a friend any time and work together towards your next goal. Catch new Temtem, complete a Route, or face off against a Temtem Leader; all while fighting alongside your friend in dual battles!
- Housing: Buy your own house at Atoll Row and decorate it your way. Buy new furniture, color your walls and you’ll be ready to invite your friends over!
- Customize: Customize your character to stand out from the crowd and get new cosmetics while you battle other tamers. Pick a silly hat, a comfy sweatshirt, some pants and you’re ready to go! Or maybe you prefer to wear a full-on cosplay of your favorite Temtem?
- Competitive: Start by choosing 8 Temtem and the pick and ban phase will begin. Take turns with your rival to pick your Temtem and ban theirs. When all the decisions are made and the turns are ended, you will end up with a squad of 5 Temtem and the battle will begin.

I really want to like this game. It's so close to being good, but it's not. If you just want to play through the story, maybe you'll have fun. I do really like that you can play through the story with a friend. Also the soundtrack is incredibly beautiful. What I don't like is how ridiculously grindy this game is. It is way more grindy than any other creature collector I've played, including old-school Pokemon. I've never even caught a legendary Temtem and I'm 200 hours in. I'm actually stunned by how much grinding you have to do to obtain competitively viable Temtem. The main system for making money, "Free Tem", requires HOURS of catching the same Temtem, and you have to do it within 1 week time period or it resets. So don't count on being able to afford competitively viable Temtem unless you can consistently grind for 5+ hours per week. Breeding your own might actually be worse. Breeding is insane and takes 10 to 20 hours for ONE Temtem and afterwards they will be out of fertility so you'll have to start the process all over again for the next Temtem so I've never had fun with PvP because of that. Sadly, it seems like the creators gave up on the game in which case …2 found this helpful

A fun creature collector game. I very much appreciate the positive varied representation of queer and bipoc characters. The most popular creature needs to take notes.
