I liked this game at first. It's really fun and the method of control is really cool. However, it gets really hard really fast. The story makes you do ridiculous tasks that are down near impossible... unless you are a surgeon with immense precision, this game is just gonna make you mad. I make it past a level just to get stuck on another. It wants me to put 20 (yes twenty) concrete blocks in a tiny little container that if you don't place each one perfect then the game bugs out and they start moving all crazy and popping out. A combo of poor programming and impossible skill. Too bad I won't be finishing this one, its just too hard. I change my review cause the devs helped.

Messed around with it for about 6 hours. I did finish the main story line but not of all the side missions. The main issue with the game are the building missions. Imaging having floppy pool noodles for arms and then trying to use wobbly magnets to peace together structures. It just makes it more frustrating than fun. It is extremely difficult to get anywhere near the perfection that you really want in order to build things. I really wanted to enjoy the building missions but just couldn't get past the poor grabbing and placement controls. Several times I accidentally destroyed my structures as I got to "heavy handed" with it. It is really too bad as the last two missions are quite enjoyable. If the rest of the game was more geared towards the last few missions (puzzle and boss fight), it would have made for a really entertaining game. When I bought the game I wasn't aware of the terrible building mechanics involved. I thought it would be more of an action/puzzle game but that isn't the case. The majority of the missions involve way to much nit picky building that I can't recommend it. I see from the achievements that only 2.5% of players actually finished the game. That is very …

This game uses VR physics to make a fun puzzle game instead of some janky tech demo, It’s addictive, you can spend hours autisming out trying to perfectly stack cars, cargo containers, etc. Thinking you finally cracked the code and everything is solid, and then boom, the whole structure collapses because the physics engine said F you I love the vibe of being a massive, friendly squid kaiju just helping out an island full of people, It's a vibe, man, a weird vibe, but a good one If you've got a VR headset, you NEED to try this. The immersion of using your tentacles to manipulate objects in 3D space is no joke, the physics engine is solid and the puzzles make you think without being complete bulls**t difficulty And because it's got workshop support, you're never gonna run out of s**t to do if this game clicks with you 8/10, would help to build more island infrastructure

Works on Reverb G2. It is a casual physics puzzler/sandbox with a twist of having giant tentacles for arms. The latter does add some comedic value by letting you accidentally destroy you own creations, but becomes more of burden in some of the later side missions focused on building. Physics interactions are responsive and fun, I could not stop banging on metal surfaces during cutscenes, because it was so satisfying to do. Levels are very diverse and vary from easy throwing challenges to balancing stacked objects and building moving contraptions. Designs are usually not to complex, accommodating for the fact that you have to use tentacles to build them. But some of the side missions do get annoying, after you fail them a few times with just one clumsy move. Final set of missions in the main campaign is the most interesting part of it, with very memorable heist level. Visually it looks cute with cartoony diorama style environments. Took me 8+ hours to complete 88% of the game, only skipping the most tedious side missions. Had fun playing the campaign, but got no interest in even touching the sandbox mode.

I really wanted to like this game, but the controls are way too awkward

Wonderful VR game that can be experienced standing or sitting where you control the tentacles of an octopus. The controls are smooth and the gameplay is even smoother. Everything from interacting with people to grabbing objects is a real treat and shines in virtual reality as you progress through different levels and help the citizens completing fun and unique tasks for them. Def a must have for any VR fans <3
