Terra Pit is a roguelite mining and exploration game developed and published by S-Grade and Yuliy Oneshko that successfully blends resource gathering, procedural exploration, survival mechanics, and long-term progression into a surprisingly addictive underground adventure. While the premise appears simple at first glance, the game gradually reveals a rewarding gameplay loop built around risk management, careful planning, and the constant temptation to push deeper into dangerous territory in search of greater rewards. The core concept revolves around descending into mysterious underground caverns filled with valuable resources, hidden pathways, and numerous environmental hazards. Players take on the role of an ambitious miner whose objective is to gather rare materials while surviving the dangers that lurk beneath the surface. Every expedition begins with promise and opportunity, but the deeper players venture, the more difficult and unpredictable the journey becomes. This balance between reward and danger forms the foundation of the entire experience and keeps exploration consistently engaging. One of Terra Pit's greatest strengths is its procedurally generated world design. No t…

Mine, loot, sell, mine, loot, upgrade, mine, loot, craft, mine, die, repeat. A simple but enjoyable loop

Relaxing random generated mining game. Go in the mine, break blocks for ore. Go back up, upgrade your storage and stamina, go back down, repeat. Before you can descent a level you have to find 3 switches on the current floor. You can also try to make more money by making artifacts but they might break before they are finished and you lose the required materials. The first 5 levels of the mine you can go back up with all your stuff whenever you want. But after that you'll lose 50% off your loot if you want to exit the mines without an elevator. (After every 5 lvls I think, only made it to 6 so far.) Kinda wish you could quick travel to a certain depth after unlocking it and finding an elevator. Idea for when there is an update? All in all very chill game to play when you are watching something on the side.

Terra Pit ended up way more fun than I thought. Every run feels different because the caves always change. You drop in thinking you’ll grab some ore fast and leave but then you get stuck in cave ins traps blocked paths and it suddenly gets tense. When you make it back to the surface with good loot you feel great. When you die you instantly want to go again because you know what you messed up. Progress moves fast upgrades actually matter and you keep wanting to dig deeper. I like that the game doesn’t hold your hand. You need to think plan and sometimes just risk it. The gameplay keeps you focused the whole time. If you enjoy roguelikes mining and a decent challenge this game hits the spot. Opened it just to check it out and ended up playing for hours.

unironically good. Gives minecraft vibes with the visuals. Brainless relaxing gameplay loop. Perfect to play while watching those dumb minecraft ARG videos. based on the store page I thought it was gonna be more low-effort but it's actually got decent production quality, even the menu is well-done. Also it's cheap AF. Get it.
