KEY GAME FEATURES
• The epic Viking saga continues on – beautifully 2D hand drawn combat sequences and animations are further enhanced with special effects, once again accompanied by an evocative score from Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory
• Player choice that continues to drive your narrative – your story continues based on choices made in the first game as well as hard choices you have to make in this one.
• New Characters and a New Race – continue your epic journey interacting with new characters and a new race, the Horseborn.
• Improved Strategic combat with consequences – improved, more strategic battle boards enhance combat and permanent loss of characters will still weigh heavy on your mind long after the battle is over.

Epic sequel to the Banner Saga, more of the same from the previous game, carrying over your progress.

Slightly not as good as the first one (maybe 8.5/10 rather than 9.5/10), but still delightful. Being able to carry over your save is extremely fun. There's some wonderful plot twists, interesting new mechanics, and just as much harsh-but-fair decision making as you'd want from the first game. Just like with Banner Saga 1; these games are more like parts 1, 2 and 3 of one big story than entries in a trilogy. You need to buy them all at once for the complete experience, but they go on sale for a very generous price now and then.

Excellent story telling and great tactical combat make this a game worrth coming back to even 10 years later

"FOOOD!" is a supplies managment game more than its predecessor, which is quite an achivement becasue that game was Fing annoying to manage. They somehow managed to make it worse. Yet, the game has some charm to it with the legal elements - you know, the apocalypse, the magic, the petty little minds fighting while everything is crumbling around them. Just like real life. In a scale from Wimp to Keen - compared to the enemies? You are the wimpiest.
8/10 Great sequel but play Banner Saga 1 first.
Great story that expands on the first game which brings up the games greatest strength and weakness. You have to play the first one to truly enjoy this one and there is one more after this one so the game without spoiling too much does not have a satisfying ending.

To me, this was the weakest game in the trilogy, but still carried on with the fantastic story and visuals. Nonetheless, still worth working through (and necessary to continue the story)
