A CHEAP GAME = A SHORT ONE🖊«The Bunker Notes» is a psychological drama based on the short story of the same name by film director Kim Sung Chan, adapted into a visual novel. The story begins during a pandemic in which the virus destroys people at a rate never seen before. The main character was one of a few that was ready for such a threat. He managed to lock himself away from the world in an autonomous bunker. But sometimes loneliness can lead to both, salvation and despair. After all, every sound behind the iron door can turn out to be an infected, and every shadow - an enemy, waiting to get rid of an extra mouth.

I liked it. It was simple and basically a short book. Hence the "visual novel." A few things I feel may have got loss in translation because the developer is Russian (I think.) And In chapter 2, toward the end especially it just felt some of the on screen pictures were not matching up well with what I was reading. Along with the reading. I just want to say that sometimes I found it hard to figure out who was speaking because of the name of the person showing up but it was someone completely different speaking or their thoughts. So some quotation marks might of been nice. The story does kind of abruptly end, and the ending did confuse me. But overall nice little read and not bad for the $1.07.7 found this helpful

I like the story and the gloomy atmosphere. However, I cannot bring myself to recommend this if you intend to play in English. Starting from the second chapter, the images, sound effects, music and the character names shown for dialogue all start to desync from the main text and it gets worse over time. By the end it is not even functioning correctly as a visual novel: the images shown on screen are far ahead of the text, spoiling what's about to happen.
