The Darkest Files

It is a fantastic game. I'm thrilled to hear there's a new DLC coming up, because I was sad playing it and knowing it would be over shortly...

The Darkest Files really shook me. I expected a detective game, but I ended up thinking about the people whose lives were destroyed, and how easy it was for others to pretend nothing had happened. Some of these stories are hard to hear. What stayed with me most is how little a human life was worth then — and how often it still feels that way now. I finished the game, but I couldn’t just close it and forget about it.

What a game. The look is so unique, and the puzzles are really engaging. Top notch game.

This is a good, solid detective game. The setting and artstyle fit this genre incredibly. Have to say that as a detective game it has some problems with testing the player on understanding of the situation, but in general, considering two great stories with emotional impact, this problem is minor. Looking forward to what author will develop in the future

The premise sounds incredibly boring: investigate old criminal cases by interviewing witnesses and digging through piles of documents. But it's not! Bringing Nazi c*nts to justice is priceless! You will be fist-pumping the air when, after laying out your case in court, the judge agrees with all your arguments and sends the b*astards to jail.
