About Ashland Dossier
«Ashland Dossier» is an espionage thriller packed with elements of turn-based stealth tactics and role-play adventure. Use your cunning, agility, and wit to finish off the Nazi plague for good this time. Ahead of you lies a deadly confrontation as the enemy threatens to drive the world into the depth of dreadful and pointless war once again.
After WWII, numerous Nazis managed to slip through the cracks and escape overseas. Like rats, they scattered around the world to hide in shadows believing that the long arm of justice will never reach them. However, this is one fatal delusion. In the late 1950s, a private investigative organization has been formed. INCU (International Nazi Crime Unit) has only one specific goal in mind: to find such criminals and get them back for a fair trial.
You will assume the role of an officer that is looking for a group of the most rotten scoundrels. In the past, all of them committed extremely heinous crimes which are still left unpunished. Your goal is to find their trail, gather all the possible evidence, and finally bring them to justice.
Easier said than done, though. There is another new force that has just appeared out of nowhere – «Ashland». Unfortunately, these people will stop at nothing in their decisive effort to help runaway Nazis...

Interesting game where you solve some puzzles to try to find and catch some criminals to justice. The Puzzles are interesting but some of them(the ones that involve math) are very hard to know what is the right answer since. There is no hint to help a bit so if you dont understand very well what you need to do you gonna get stuck unfortunaly. I enjoyed this game. There are about 4 types of puzzles that repeat per level, but boy do they get harder as you go along! And they are the same type but very different in strategy and challenge with the story going along with the puzzles to keep interest. Most of the cipher type puzzles need Internet research so the game is engaging in that way as well. I recommend for serious puzzle lovers who like a challenge!8 found this helpful
Ashland Dossier – A Tasteless Dance on Bones
It's hard to decide where to start. Pretty much every part of this game is awfully made, and perhaps the best place to start is with what defines any game – its gameplay. Well, Ashland Dossier is a detective point-and-click where player investigates cases by solving puzzles, the concept itself is clear enough, but how well is it executed? The game is built around several types of puzzles that you have to complete to close each case. Let's take a closer look at what we have: Field Operations During this mini-game player controls an intelligence officer on a grid-based map full of buildings, enemy spies, cops, etc. Your goal is to plan a route to a specific spot while avoiding enemies and staying within a limited number of moves, and if you get spotted or run out of moves, you start over. This is easily the most reasonable and enjoyable puzzle in the game. Before you begin, the game shows you enemies' routes during the first few turns, and after that you experiment on your own. That part works fine, the problem starts with how the game explains it in the story, because, supposedly, all of this is calculated by a machine c…4 found this helpful
This is the best game about the Nazi Hunter that I ever played.4 found this helpful
Наконец-то разгадал все загадки, черт побери. Пришлось местами попотеть, но все же получилось. Есть шероховатости, не без этого, но в целом мне понравилось. Для тех, кто любит квесты/загадки/расследования и все такое.2 found this helpful
