✦ AI summary
Players praise The Giraffe World as a fun, affordable puzzle game with unique mechanics and clever level design that stays interesting throughout, though some wish for an undo function to avoid restarting entire levels over minor mistakes. The game appeals to those seeking a chill, cute experience, though critics argue it feels like a simple browser or mobile game that could have been produced with more polish and depth.

This is a pretty good game for the price. The gameplay is unique and stays interesting throughout the run of the game, and although not every puzzle is a hit, there are quite a few really good ones that make the game worth getting. The biggest critique I have is that I wish there was an undo system so I didn't have to restart the whole level because I accidentally pressed right one too many times, but the levels are generally short enough that restarting isn't too big of an issue and I was still able to 100% the game pretty quickly.4 found this helpful
Before I played The Giraffe World, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
2 found this helpful
"The Giraffe World" is basically a kind of "Snake meets Sokoban" puzzle game (although the stretchy giraffe neck you see is more of a visual gimmick). There's a poorly rendered grid with some "hats" and you stretch the giraffe neck around to collect them, pushing some boxes out of the way as needed, etc. Yeah, could have been a Flash game or a browser game or a mobile app, but here it is, challenging your gaming rig. Here's another case where Itch failed. They have like, ONE job... to act as containment to prevent poorly made amateur shovelware from leaking out onto platforms where gamers might see them and lose hope in the gaming industry. But here we are. The participation trophies and hi-5's from the group hug weren't enough and some of the amateur drivel they're supposed to protect us from got out. While I couldn't find this on the mobile app stores, everything about it looks and feels like it's a mobile app designed for mobile phones... for PC gaming enthusiasts, it's not going to give you a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. We don't spend thousands building gaming rigs so that we can pretend they're iP…1 found this helpful
Simple and fun puzzle game! You extend the giraffe's neck to form a path that can only cross straight over itself. The levels aren't particularly constrained but there are a lot of clever designs. Quick and free, would recommend!
