About The Honours Project
The Honours Project is an autobiographical walking simulator. Enjoy a narrative experience, adventuring through dream-like levels, solving an occasional puzzle and listening to the dark and sometimes comical dialogue that acts as a commentary about being a student and game development.

The game crashed for me first play. I got to the "Pay Your Bills" game show and pressed all the buttons and the game wouldn't progress. I thoght hte game had stuffed up. I lose 20 minutes of time so i had to start all over again from the start. Started again and this time it worked properly and let me progress. Finished the game. Nice little indie game. Roughly 35 minutes to finish. Walking Sim with lite puzzles. You'r walking through a university listening to a guy talk about his honours and music. Pretty decent walking sim with voiceover and even voiceover on the found notes. I am glad you can't just walk off aanywhere and explore as there isnt really anything to look at so the good thing is they keep you on track as you play the game. The end was nothing special. No complaints for a free 35-40 minute game. The walking was a little slow, i feel like they could have let you pick up the pace a bit with shift but htey didnt. There was no run. The puzzles were alright nothing complex just watch the music keynotes on the keyboard, remember it and play it back and the other puzzles was just pull the lever, and follow the floor markings. Nice free game with voiceover.…
Artist goes insane. The technical aspects are rough, but the story is touching.
Well Scott, i gotta say, you made a masterpiece. You deserve all the love you can get from this.
The Honours Project is one of those small indie titles that feels more personal than polished—and honestly, that’s where it shines. Right away, you can tell this isn’t a traditional “gamey” experience. There’s no intense combat or deep mechanics, this is much more about atmosphere and storytelling. You’re exploring spaces, listening to dialogue, and occasionally interacting with light puzzles. The narration is easily the standout feature. It swings between dark humour and genuine honesty, which makes it feel relatable, especially if you’ve ever struggled with creative work or uni life. The tone can shift quickly: one moment it’s funny, the next it’s surprisingly emotional. That unpredictability actually works in its favour.
absolutely beautiful experience. It's short and hardly a game but after staring at my library deciding what to do, I couldn't have chosen a better "game" to open. Exactly what I wanted and I will be chasing the feeling of experiencing this for the first time just like many games I have played before
I was really needing to go wee wee's but I needed all of the achievements as I am a sweaty pig rooting around the dirt for truffles, and my only solace in life is leeching after every award I can attain.
