The Last Dig

This game absolutely shows potential. I have liked what I have played so far and I plan to keep playing more! It reminds me a lot of old flash games that I used to play when I was a child. That being said, I beg of you to hire a real artist for the character portraits and other places that you have used AI in. AI sucks the fun and life out of a game. I understand that this is your first game and that making a game is a huge task, but I think it would be so much better than it already is without it.

This is a great game! I enjoy the style and the narrative but my favorite detail is the audio and visual ques you get when you're starting to run out of oxygen; it genuinely gives a sense of panic and it really adds a lot to the experience. Definitely recommend picking this game up.

The mechanics are fun and give interesting challenges which keeps it engaging. It can be a little difficult to place things exactly where I want them and that makes me wish I could pick up pipes and replace them. But besides that, it's a nice game, very low stress so an ideal pick for relaxing at the end of a work day

Amazingly aesthetic, you can tell the creator spent a bunch of time really dialing in how they wanted their game to look and feel. Very nostalgic, but with a lot of quality graphics, sounds, and mechanics!

I honestly didn’t expect to get so addicted to a game about drilling, but here we are—hours later. This game strikes the perfect balance between action, resource management, and strategy. You play as a driller digging into the earth in search of valuable resources; however, every trip underground eats away at your limited oxygen, so every move has to be carefully planned. How deep do you dare to go before it's time to scramble back to the surface? The real genius of the game lies in its upgrade system. As you collect resources, you can improve your drill, extend your oxygen supply, and even deploy air hoses to venture further and deeper without suffocating. The sense of progression is extremely satisfying—every upgrade makes a real difference, and there’s always a new piece of gear to work toward. Combat is another nice surprise. You're not alone down there, and the foes lurking in the dark add just the right amount of tension without overwhelming the core gameplay loop. If you enjoy games that reward careful planning, smart upgrades, and offer that “just one more run” feeling, this is a must-play!
