The Last Visit: 98th receives mixed reactions from players, with some praising its atmospheric horror presentation, effective jump scares, and immersive sound design that works well for genre newcomers, while others criticize it for simplistic puzzles, relying too heavily on found notes for storytelling, and lacking meaningful gameplay depth. The experience seems to land best for those seeking a short, atmospheric walking simulator rather than players looking for challenging mechanics or complex narrative delivery.
The Last Visit: 98th leans heavily into atmosphere over clarity, placing you in a quiet, snow-covered post-Soviet setting where you return to your parents’ apartment after their passing. What begins as a simple task—preparing the place for sale—quickly shifts into something far more psychological, as the game pulls you through fragmented memories and darker undertones tied to your past. it’s okay, you can play it. if it’s on sale, it’s worth a try.
AWFULLLL GAMEEEE. The puzzles are dumb. The lighting is terrrible. The gameplay is very much lacking & it solely tells the story through random ass notes. Whack asf. Would rather play with my hole than play this game for another second.
Wow, what a game. I loved the story, I only wished there was more to it. A few jump scares that got me -- a few that didn't, but this is a great introduction to horror for those trying to get into the genre!
This game definitely keeps you on the edge the whole time. The jumpscares are really good and unexpected. The puzzles are also fun and quite easy.
Хороший хоррор за 50 рублей, пару раз испугался от скримеров, обстановка гнетущая , конечно, время и место действия выбранными правильно разработчиком, чтобы может быть ужаснее и омерзительнее никчёмного и дырявого совка.
