About The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon

The prophesied end of the Zemurian continent draws near, and so does the launch of humanity's first foray into space. A sudden invitation from Marduk to cooperate in a high-tech training exercise sets Van Arkride, Ashen Chevalier Rean Schwarzer, and Father Kevin Graham on a collision course with the secrets that lay at the very core of Zemuria.Their paths may diverge, but the ultimate question remains the same: Just what lies beyond the edge of the horizon?

Gameplay Mechanics

Explore detailed locations across the Calvard Republic, strengthen your connections with your allies, and uncover what lies beyond the horizon of Zemuria across three intertwining story paths. Plus, Trails beyond the Horizon introduces new gameplay mechanics to the beloved battle system introduced in Trails through Daybreak, giving you an unprecedented amount of options in both Field and Command Battles. Battle it out in the action-packed Field Battle mode, then swap to the turn-based Command Battle mode to strategically plan out your attacks! New features include: Wield more power in battle than ever before with Shard Commands! Utilize S-Boosts to give your party a range of benefits during battle. Each character and holo core comes with their own unique Shard Commands, so be sure to take advantage of them! Certain characters, such as Van with his ability to transform into the Grendel, can surge with extra strength using Awakening during Field Battles to temporarily increase their power.Take control of time itself with Z.O.C. to slow the speed of enemies to a crawl, allowing characters to perform multiple attacks in quick succession. Not only that, but while Z.O.C. is activated, your attack power and stun damage will dramatically increase, making stunning enemies with high defense a breeze! Plus, gather allies from all over Calvard and beyond and put a stop to Ouroboros' machinations in the Grim Garten, a dungeon that you can take on with your own custom party!

Please stop with the cliffhanger endings, I'm already 13 games into the series, I'm not going to stop now

RENNE AND ALTINA MY BELOVED The 13th game in the Trails series and the third game in the Calvard arc. I’ve finally caught up after 1 year of playing this series for almost daily. I have to say that I’m really grateful to have found the Trails series, it has become one of my favorite JRPGs of all time. It has been an amazing journey playing this amazing series. Finishing this game has made Trails my favorite series/story told in any media. I can’t wait for the next game! My reaction after finishing the game: WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ JUST HAPPENED BRUH WTF NOOO. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT GAME. FALCOM PLEASE JUST RELEASE TRAILS HORIZON 2 ALREADY I DONT WANT TO WAIT. THIS IS PEAK CINEMA, PEAK FICTION. Trails Beyond the Horizon is one of the best trails games for me. So many plot twists and grand reveal. Seeing Kevin, Rean, Altina and other characters return made me so happy. Each chapter is filled with interesting characters, funny moments, dialogue and story. I can feel the tension/suspense build up with each chapter. The graphics and gameplay from the previous Daybreak games have improved further. There are more cinematic cutscenes and I can see that the devs have been experimenting w…

It just idiom and reddit loser talking in this game. Even rewrite while at it. Only 10% word i can understand but the rest of 90% of turd gen z language, unnecessary line, idiom are so retarded like the incompetent localizer. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass man. One guy with MTL in non localized version done better than this crap with easier to understand and no rewrite. It just self absorbed idiot doing this job. It all Slang ape gen z ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Go ♥♥♥♥ yourself localizer. Useless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ffs.

For a story i can even pardon horrible at that point generative dungeons gameplay, as main battle activity, and broken field battle, what is better in Sky remakes but here it's bad, better than in a 1 and 2 Daybreak but still bad. Ending.

What a phenomenal game. Great story, great ending, great writing. The engine changes are great. Action combat feels very polished compared to DB2, and especially compared to DB1. The ending had me sobbing. Some may not like the game's pacing and act structure, but this is the 13th game in a series that has long since found its cadence and further complaints just feel like warbling after a while. Temper your expectations accordingly. I really hope Grim Garten is the last game-wide optional dungeon we see for a while, but (unlike Daybreak 2) the Garten's finale was absolutely worth it.
