Easy but fun little RPGmaker game for its price. Got very dark at some point but it kept me invested. already waiting for the next chapter.3 found this helpful
Good game. Pretty simple, and linear, but not bad for the developer's first. The gameplay starts out with very direct 'press space on all the marked spots' kind of fare, with very two-dimensional, archetypal characters. Plotwise, you know that something sinister is going to come shake up the 'fun, wholesome adventure game' facade, and it does come, but it takes longer than you expect. Towards the end though, we start to experience a lot more character depth, more varied RPG-style gameplay, and by the end you realize that it's been approaching a very sensitive topic with shocking levels of tact and maturity. It's not the kind of game you expect to have a solid emotional core, but it's there, and it made me stop and think for a bit after I finished it. What the game is trying to do, it did well, and I appreciate it for that.2 found this helpful
A short RPG Maker game about a girl named Amy who really loves flowers and her mum. One day, her mum leaves on a business trip for a few days, leaving Amy alone. She ends up going into the closet and discovers a magical world called the Midnight Garden, which is filled with strange creatures some friendly, others dangerous. The Midnight Garden is planned as a five-chapter series, with Amy’s Flowers being the first chapter and is about an hour long to complete. The game also features really nice hand-drawn art and a beautiful, dreamlike soundtrack. Overall, it’s a really nice first game, and I can’t wait to play the next chapter.1 found this helpful
