What Steam players say

Players praise this escape room game for its challenging and creative puzzles that genuinely test your problem-solving skills, though opinions are mixed on difficulty balance. Common complaints center on technical and quality-of-life issues: poor translation and misleading hints, outdated graphics and controls, lack of hints or achievements, inability to save progress, bad lighting, and the need to restart frequently or write down information manually. While fans of traditional escape rooms may appreciate the challenge, the accessibility problems and presentation quality frustrate many players
This game is the first I've played that feels like a real life escape room. I considered the puzzles 40% cakewalk and 60% "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, how the ♥♥♥♥ do I get out of here? I'm so screwed." Great puzzles! This game is a legitimate challenge. I was able to figure out most of the puzzles on my own, but I needed assistance on a few, and honestly, I still don't know some of the answers (the process of elimination got me through a couple of them). The final puzzle is a bit of a letdown, but it may be due to the language barrier. The English translation is a bit misleading, but I was able to determine the correct answer regardless - I just didn't feel confident in my answer. Overall, this game is outstanding, despite some of its noted flaws. If you love escape rooms, get a group of people (2-4, I'd say), buy this game, and spend an evening playing through it together. If I could erase my memory and go back to play it again, that's what I would have done. If anything, add in a hint system to give the player a nudge in the right direction. That would make it a little bit more like many escape rooms (in America, at least), where limited hints are provided. Then again, the discussion boards …10 found this helpful
An adventure/mystery/puzzle game, very escape room like. Look for clues, solve puzzles, find keys and escape. The Mystery Room contains enough mystery to live up to its name. Make sure you know maths. https://youtu.be/cYXhkuGDPNQ3 found this helpful
The only reason I do not recommend this game, and I swear this is literally the only reason, there is no other reason anywhere to be seen, is that there are NO ACHIEVEMENTS!!!!!! Also.. - No hints - Bad lighting - Typos galore - ♥♥♥♥ puzzles But really, it just needs achievements. :)3 found this helpful
I would cautiously recommend this game. The puzzles are of a good difficulty and there's enough of them to justify the price, but the translation is a little dicey and there are a few errors in the actual puzzles/hints themselves that are very misleading.2 found this helpful
As everyone sees in the democlip - the graphic is not at all fitting today´s standards even for a puzzle game. That would be okay, if the gameplay was good. But already in the first room the absence of user friendly playability makes it hard to get in the game. The music could also be better (to raise the athmosphere) but doesn´t get into a symbiosis with the game. Overall the game makes it very hard to feel comfortable. Instead of using the mouse for everything (walk, take, use, inventory) like all the other games since at least a decade do, it throws you back to a time, when every action had it´s own button. So the paste is very slow, actions take much longer and this really is an issue for you will have to do try and error a lot because not even the normal hints in the game are done very clearly. And for a puzzle game, try and error is okay at some point, but not too much cause it feels like guessing, rather than working with an idea. If you can overlook the missing standard comfort functions, you do not need an athmospherical setup and it is on sale, you might give it a try - and maybe if you do not expect too much. I was deeply disappointed because of reviews I read and ex…
This game is pretty hard to finish because the absence of hint to resolve the puzzles. You can not save your progress so it is a shot deal or write down all info found to go faster each time you re-start. Very dark You can't find help on the net except for one walkthrough with no comment and no explaination on how to find the solution of each puzzle. I am glad I got it on special for cheap 1.14 Icouldn't find a web site for the developer or publisher finish the game anyway jsut to see if it would change but no
