The Night Gym

Reviewing this game is going to make me look and sound like a complete and utter psychopath. Let me be clear, this game is beyond terrible in nearly every single way. Very poor English, practically nonexistent story, horrible gameplay, borderline unplayably buggy with controls that would make even the most skilled player weep. There is almost nothing good present in this game whatsoever. Abandon hope all ye who enter here, etc. But in spite of that [i]Night Gym[/i] is one of the few games I have played that is genuinely "so bad it's good" in a way that is hard for video games to accomplish compared to movies - and for that, it's honestly worth a dollar; particularly if you have friends willing to watch and laugh with you. When you hear the title, what exactly do you think you're going to get? Whatever you're thinking, you're wrong. You get a game with godawful button prompt minigames that barely work, you get laughably repetitive and loud grunting sound effects, you get a gigajacked skeleton man pumping iron in the dark, peeping on you in the shower, and chilling in the hot tub like a spurned homoerotic lover, and you get to perform the revolutionary new exercise known as "Drink…

Very broken don't buy

Definitely fun to playthrough! The atmosphere of the game was creepy kept you on your toes, especially the second half! I hope there's an update soon on the action text. Overall, a must have for your Fireplay Studio collection!

Great game, i wish there was a way to see the death screen after beating the game without resting.

Finally got around to editing the video i recorded of it, there were a few bugs that forced me to reset the game and the dialogue and mechanics felt a little off (could have been fixed by now, ive had this video recorded for over a month now) but still had an overall fun experience playing it!! https://youtu.be/M1FMERZ6VzE
