Took longer to download and install than it takes to play the game. Definitely pass on this.

The Raid Of Brunswick is a very short pseudo-simulation of a WW2 Lancaster bomber mission. It does not attempt to accurately portray the internal appearance of a Lancaster, the tasks of the air crew (pilot, navigator, radio operator, gunner, bombardier), or even the noise and tension of a real mission, but rather to give a vastly simplified glimpse into some aspects of a bombing raid. But mostly the game is a tribute to a real crew of seven young men on a real Lancaster, of whom five perished on their return flight from their German target of Brunswick, and as such is to be applauded. There are achievements for performing brief & simple tasks in each of the five crew stations, and one more for opening the "ground crew" credits.

The game is as random as it can be. Nothing makes sense and all of a sudden, it's done. The devs involved were probably homeless and starving and would work for spoiled food. You'll have more fun flying plastic bags against the wind. It's about as exciting as watching paint dry or grass grow.

Truly wonderful game that gives good insight into the individual jobs of a WWII bomber crew. There's also a lovely tribute to the real crew upon completion. Great little game, I'd love to see more from the developers. RIP to the brave young men shot down over Groningen.

Hmmmmm ..... I think I'm being teased ! This has some real potential, I hope the 'ground crew' is working on a follow up. It's short and simple, but graphically pretty well done. I can't beleave anyone would not recomend a FREE game that shows some real effort to produce Spoliler alert ..... It has a sad ending. I salute the air crew mentioned at the end of the game, with out their sacrifice and thousands more like them we wouldn't be here today .... Thank you !
