1943 Berlin Blitz

For a VR experience based on such an incredible piece of World War II history, 1943 Berlin Blitz feels far too limited. There are no Steam achievements or Trading Cards, despite obvious opportunities for milestones involving the bombing raid, different crew positions and completing the experience. The whole thing is also extremely short and mostly passive, with fixed viewpoints and very little interaction, while the blurry ground textures and basic effects make it difficult to feel like you are actually flying over Berlin. The original BBC audio is excellent, but the experience itself feels more like a 15-minute documentary than a proper VR game.

Wow an amazingly immersive experience, even more so knowing that the audio was recorded live on an actual air raid

I couldn't turn on subtitles. Not for me.

A fantastic example of the power of VR for education and learning. In WW2 the BBC put a reporter on a Lancaster bomber during a sortie over Germany. This demonstration video puts you in the seat of a Lancaster bomber as it flies over Germany while listening to the 'real time' reporting of the BBC reporter as well as the general radio communications between the pilot, co-pilot, navigator, gunners and engineers. Easily the best VR experience I have ever had. The experience is both humbling and haunting in equal measure. Fully recommend.

A very insightful look into the terror that aircrew on bomber command had to face, and the great odds that were faced for them to come home. I believe all should take a look at this game to understand the sacrifices made by our grandfathers and great grandfathers to allow us to live free.

Nice VR experience where you get to see the Berlin Bombing. Its educational and do not expect mind blowing realism. Its Free, so Recommended!!!
