Warning: GameGuru Asset Flip!
The Return Home Remastered is a what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" bought the GameGuru first person shooter construction kit (no coding required, it's just a GUI!) and cobbled out a map or two using GameGuru and other stock 3D assets... nothing in this game can fully be called the creation of the developer, and yet they also failed to credit GameGuru or acknowlegde any of the GameGuru assets. They're trying (badly) to pass someone else's work as their own. It's just a bunch of random GameGuru assets dropped around a really lazy, stock textured GameGuru map template. Some effort went into acquiring different assets than the stock Gameguru ones (to some extent) but it still looks like most of this is from the GameGuru asset store. And, another incredible feat of game development, instead of just shooting the various NPC assets on the screen, you have to avoid them and collect carrots instead. This probably added anywhere up to 20 minutes onto the development time for this GameGuru asset flip. This asset flip is so badly done it's even using the default GameGuru l…3 found this helpful

The Return Home Remastered is a lighthearted first-person action game developed by AL-GAME and published by Displacement Studios. At its core, the game embraces a simple but entertaining premise: a peaceful rabbit's home has been invaded by hostile reptilian creatures emerging from mysterious dimensional portals. Rather than focusing on an elaborate narrative, the game delivers a straightforward adventure centered on exploration, combat, and progression. Its quirky concept immediately gives it a distinctive personality, creating an experience that feels more like a classic arcade shooter than a modern story-driven action title. While the plot is intentionally uncomplicated, it succeeds in providing enough motivation to keep players moving from one objective to the next. Gameplay revolves around exploring each stage, gathering carrots scattered throughout the environments, purchasing stronger weapons, and eliminating waves of invading enemies before closing the portals that continue to fuel the attack. The carrot collection mechanic serves as both a reward for exploration and the game's primary currency, encouraging players to thoroughly search each level instead of simply rushing …1 found this helpful
I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…1 found this helpful
