The Space-Eating Croc

This game feels like a visual novel with a lot of walking and a bit of puzzle solving. The story is pretty good, otherwise the gameplay is quite barebones as you mostly interact with items, read notes and sometimes pick numbers. Apparently there is some replaybilty too where you can experiment with different endings, I didn't bother tho. The game takes about 3-4 hours to beat so it's great if you want to finish something in a day.

Played through to get the 2 endings at least I think there are only 2. Still not sure what it was about but wonder if some of the plot was lost on translation. Good that it had some puzzles to solve rather than just being a visual novel. Puzzles were fair and did not have to use a guide. Stable on steam deck but had to use the virtual keyboard for 1 puzzle near the end. Worth a play on sale. Would have liked some achievements.

A surreal and lonely walking simulator. It takes a while for the devs to figure out what they're doing with the puzzles. Recommended for the heartbreaking endings.
