✦ AI summary
Players praise the game's atmosphere, world-building, clever puzzle design, and engaging sci-fi story, with many calling it a hidden gem that exceeded expectations. However, complaints center on inconsistent puzzle logic—some rely on obscure "moon logic" or trial-and-error rather than clear reasoning, and hints don't always point toward what players are actually trying to solve, making progression occasionally frustrating rather than satisfying.
I've actually played the game before on mobile, so I really like using the A and D keys to rotate the camera. The atmosphere and world-building are pretty nice and thought-out, and the story's pretty self-explanatory. Some of the puzzles are harder to solve, but the hints are free and explain where to go to, so it's fine, I guess.3 found this helpful
I wanted to like the game, but too many puzzles rely on moon logic rather than clear reasoning. Several number-based puzzles could have multiple valid values, which turns solving them into frustrating trial and error instead of satisfying deduction. All of these frustrated me rather than enjoy the game.1 found this helpful
Very cool game, a true hidden gem! Smart puzzles, interesting story, good atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Do this to get a code, now decipher, now do this other thing to get another code, now decipher that..
8/10. I'm going to be frank: I didn't have many expectations for this game, I got it because I wanted a puzzle mystery game, and this game was on sale for five dollars, when it's normally 10 bucks. I don't know if it was the graphics, or if it's because I'm used to super ornate but mechanically simple puzzle games, but I didn't have many expectations beyond "it's hopefully not gonna be glitchy, and hopefully it'll be chill." However, this game went way beyond my expectations, and I feel like a heel for being so dismissive. The singular rooms make it easier to navigate, the story was more sci-fi, which I like and is a pleasant surprise to me, and I like how it navigates and moves. I like how it's encouraged to take notes and photos, instead of the game just doing everything for you, and I like the art style a lot. Plus it has two easter eggs I like, one making fun of a cybertruck ("it must just be a prototype"), and one referencing a childhood TV show ("the lab rats must've escaped, I wonder what they'll be doing tonight"), which I find amusing. Overall, it's not the most difficult, but it's not overly simple. The graphics are simple but good, so your computer doesn't chug. The ro…
Overall I liked this game. I originally played the free levels on mobile, but never committed to buying the rest because I think there were only a few more available at the time (maybe the rest of Act 1?) and I wasn't sure it was worth it. Now there are 15 levels and a bonus level! I was happy to revisit it especially as I see they're working on a new one. The game is a series of small diorama rooms set up in escape room fashion; you often have to solve a series of codes and puzzles to advance - sometimes to get to the next room, sometimes dashing around in multiple rooms to collect clues to juggle multiple puzzles at once. The hints can be frustrating in this respect because what they think you should be working on next might have nothing to do with what you're actually looking at, even if you can work towards a solution without running off to where the hint leads you. Initially the game is pretty logical and straightforward, but as you get into the later levels things go a bit sideways and hit increasingly frequent frustration choke points. Sometimes the codes you have to find are filtered through multiple layers of obfuscation - in addition to finding the key symbols…
