About Toastercide
Welcome to the Intelligent Countertop Association!
You are a Toaster. You have been tasked with eliminating targets by expertly maneuvering toasters into their bathtubs. Use your power cord to slow down time, grapple and swing around physics-based environments to execute a Toastercide, all while navigating as fast as possible.
Navigate with just two simple controls
1. If you shoot your power cord at a powered object, you will be pulled towards it at great speed. 2. If you shoot your power cord at an unpowered object, the cord will act as a rope, allowing you to change your momentum while moving.
Using both your grapple and swinging cables effectively is key to maneuvering around the mission environment. Even with just these two mechanics, movement in Toastercide can become very complex which requires learning several advanced maneuvers.
Oh also, you can slow down time.
Explore a variety of environments.
Toastercide's missions are set in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, a college dorm room, a 3-bedroom suburban home, Santa's workshop, and the city of Dallas Texas in 1963. Be sure to avoid any patrolling goons, and pesky hazards like water, bullets, or, you know, the ground. Believe it or not, but people are scared of moving appliances, so be sure to avoid them as best as possible.
Unlock and use special toast abilities!
Unlock and use special toast abilities by collecting toast during missions and ejecting them. Cool mechanics arise depending on which toast ability you choose, allowing for complex synergies and time saving techniques. Abilities include invincibility, dashing, teleportation, burning projectile toast and the toast swap ability. See what works best for you!
Test your skills by going as fast as possible!
Toastercide has been designed with speedrunning in mind. Learn the game's advanced techniques and see if you can beat your previous times and win all three stars! Use toast abilities wisely to find smart time saves!

This game is beyond peak. The mechanics are so well made and there is so much potential for speed running and limitless playing. Whole-heatedly recommend. Here's a link to my playthrough of it! https://youtu.be/qWPOPiDeZPU3 found this helpful
Toastercide is an enjoyabe game with vibrant visuals and a unique premise. It's very beginner friendly and the mechanics are easy to pick up, but the true fun lies in using those mechanics creatively to reach your target in the bathtub. The developer does a great job in guiding the player through the rules and controls after which you can explore various, colorful levels in innovative ways. I highly recommend Toastercide for those who want a game that is simple to learn yet engaging and humorous. Trust me when I say it's fun to play as a grappling, time-stopping toaster.1 found this helpful
makes you feel like toaster.
I found this game relatively pleasant. A nice use of an afternoon. It's not a huge game, but you can play a lot more if you're willing to go down the side content and 100% completion stuff. The grappling is... rough, but I suppose if I could move around easily it wouldn't be much of a game now would it? It's like giving Human Fall Flat the controls of Ultrakill, you somewhat miss the point. But still, I always felt like I had a lot of slack when I was grappling to anything non electrical. The FPS system was made by a small rotund chipmunk, as it completely nukes your sensitivity if you unlock it from 60. I was hitting 800 + FPS, and I could file for planning permission in the time it took for me to move my camera around, before I turned it off. Still, I think I would recommend. It's nice to play something unique and simple.
This game toasted my brain :3
I've been following this game's progress for a while so I was so excited to play. Learning the controls can be a little frustrating at first but once you get the hang of things and buy some abilities the game gets to be so much fun. Go buy toastercide now!
