Controls are fine, and I didn't mind the graphics, but the content is extremely generic. - Probably the worst part is that enemies all have incredibly simple and repetitive movements, and never respond to the player (even the player location, screen position, anything) so far as I can see. - Level design is pretty vanilla. Movement speed is fine but play feels slow anyway due to level design, lots of long empty stretches and repetitive simple jumps. - Early on at least the upgrades are linear enough that they all feel like gates and keys rather than actual ability upgrades.

I absolutely love playing this game. I'm currently working on my 3rd playthrough on the new "nightmare" difficulty. This game reminds me of older platformer games and almost like the older Mario games. The graphics are not AAA realistic, but I see this games graphics fitting the style of gameplay the dev was looking for. Everything is hand drawn on what looks like graph paper and I cant help but love it! Personally I would recommend this game to anyone that has the linking to these older style platforming games. The platforming in the game feels good. I don't feel like when I do any action its delayed or glide-y. It responds very well in my opinion and I play on controller. Everytime I have died I never felt the game was unfair. Most the times i've died was my fault.. I tend to rush platformers in general and then end up dying.. lol. The story kept me interested which is usually something I find myself uninterested in, no spoilers. Also.. you're a turtle! The dev themselves are a pleasure to work with as well! Anytime I have mentioned something to them about the game they have been super positive about it. Any time I have had any questions or suggestions they were always super he…

This was cute! Definitely no Mario killer, but everything feels smooth and rock solid. I had no bugs throughout the whole game and I had a great time!
