Pleasant game that doesn't overstay its welcome. Theres about 1 secret to find on every floor that rewards you with a new trinket. Its a bit hard but you get the hang of it after not long. I thought charged attacks were underpowered while button mashing to fire was perhaps a bit overtuned. Some of the platforming areas can be a bit janky because its sometimes hard to tell if something is a platform or a background element. Beautiful atmosphere and great worldbuilding.

The gameplay was alright but the story and level design were a bit lacking. The areas were gorgeous visually, but very confusing to navigate because of confusion on what was a pit or just a dark part of the ground, what was a column or a bright part of the ground, or just where to go in general. The story was also incredibly lacking in my opinion, as the only way you even know your character's motivation for entering the tower is from getting an ending, which feels like a bad way to express that information. The endings were also disappointing as it was just a few slides saying "Your character paid off her debt, hooray." or, if you left at the start of the game, "Your character never paid off her debt, so sad." and that was it. The secret ending is literally just the same as the normal ending with a slightly different beginning to it.

It's Radio the Universe but it's actually a finished game. Love the artstyle, love the environments, the enemies are neat, the bosses are awesome so far. My only real complaint is that the visual language of what is a floor, what is a wall, and what is a death pit are not very clear most of the time.
