This was one of the better tower defense games that had great potential but never evolved. Beat the game in roughly 5 hours of casual play with some map replaying. If your a Tower defense person ( like Defense grid the awakening, etc ). I recommend it if you think the price is right for a game you will beat within a few hours.

Probably the most fun tower defense game I have played. There are levels with varying complexity that require various strategies. My only complaint would be that I would like to see more levels. I would even be willing to pay more money for DLC to get more levels, it was so fun.

A shame there isn't a neutral option on the review, but as things stand it is hard to give this an overall positive. Frustrating because with some further development this could have been good. As it stands this is a very trimmed down copy of defence grid, with limited levels, no orbital skill, no story and only 2 difficulty levels to maps. No alternate game modes. It has a decent mix of towers, and the maps are ok, but everything about the game feels like the bare minimum basics. In just a few hours you will have seen everything this has to offer, and you wont go back to it. If you have not done so already, buy Defence grid instead (or Sol survivor). If you really must scratch the tower defence itch and have played everything else then this might pass a couple of hours but only buy at a steep discount.

GOOD TOWER DEFENSE GAME.

It usually takes less than 10 hours to complete the game in normal and hard level. It has a vibe of the well-known Defense Grid, yet imo it is not a clone of it. It just takes what works well there and implements it well. I've played a lot of TD games, I can say, the graphics and the effects are amazing, one of the best. The sound is good. There is a big variety of towers, which are fun to use and also many different enemies. Most of the levels present a challenge in their own way. It doesn't get boring. Most levels provide great opportunities to shape the path of the enemies, often with cleverly ommitted that opportunity in strategic positions, which add to the challenge and require from the player to think of a good strategy. However, imho missiles are a little overpowered - at least for some levels. The towers could benefit from a little more balancing and this would make the game even more challenging. What is missing is a storyline. Yet, what is present in the game, however, is everywhere well-made and polished - graphics, levels, sounds, effects, user interface, just everything.
