"Think that chicken house might be bringing down property values and also why is the sky red and also why is there a giant grinning boulder patrolling around here and also who are these rabbit people and also why am i the mayor" the mayor of this weird-ass village, probably Every game deserves a chance to shine, and Vasilisa is what you might call a Devour/Pacify clone. You play as one of the villagers attempting to bring Vasilisa, a local girl, back to life. You can play with multiple friends or solo. The game is interesting in that it has multiple antagonistic forces, including the two on the cover art, both of whom can easily one-hit you if you're not prepared. Your job is to collect a number of items and brew a potion which will restore Vasilisa to life, and these can range from vodka to a radioactive brick. Whether Vasilisa secretly has some Hulk in her, or the ancient evil might be more advanced than we thought, who knows? The game plays fairly well, the graphics are about standard for an indie horror, and it offers enough of a challenge to keep you on your toes, while paying tribute to numerous parts of Eastern European folklore. Brother, how tf are you supposed to do ANYTHING when the map is crammed with several monsters? EDIT: Just found out that this game utilizes generative AI, which is a big N-O in my book. Never installing again.
AI slop. Do not support developers like this to pump out games like this. Refunded after 20mins
Had a good time playing with friends, excited to see what else they come out with
Seems kinda fun for the price. WIsh I had more friends to play it with :)
