Venture's Gauntlet: The Ultimate VR Fitness Obstacle Course

Can't really play it as first obstacle is bugged.

As a left-handed player, the fact that I have no recourse to change the controls to allow me to use my left hand for menu interactions and stuff is a deal-breaker to playing this. In general it lacks much in the way of accessibility features, which I guess is fine if you as a customer match their vision for what a player looks like, but I'm broadly not a fan of how this game handles interaction/controls. Not sure if it's early access or what, but I'm glad I got it in a Humble Bundle pack, because it'd be an instant refund if I paid full retail for it.

Unfortunately as much as I recalibrated myself and reset my height in Steam, etc. I just couldn't duck low enough to get under anything, I would constantly get stuck. I had to quit put of the game and play something else, happily I got this as part of a bundle but this should really be sorted so I can play it at all.

Motion Sickness Simulator 2024. I hardly ever get motion sick but this game had me wanting to through up after 5 minutes. Why? Because there is some sort of lag or bad headtracking that causes your camera to be constantly vibrating/jittering. I have never had this issue in any other game. The other big thing is the horrible locomotion. They want you to move using your arms but in a game where you have to use your hands to grab, press buttons, etc. Doing all that while swinging your arms around to run confuses the hell out of the game. I reach up to grab a zip line and it things "Oh you must want to move forward 3 ft!" Until the awful motion sickness is fixed this is a hard pass.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this game in its current state. There are a lot of bugs, some of which surround the fundamentals of the game like walking and dodging. This game has a lot to like, but more to hate. The very firsty thing you're greeted with are three huge billboards that have controls on them and a bunch of text, however the text is completely blurry and literally impossible to read at any distance. The movement style is unique. You have to move your arms/hands in order to run. They don't really teach you this, you have to figure it out on your own. You can walk VERY VERY slowly if you move the joystick. Like, you move so slow that it's angering. The devs should make the basic walking speed a bit faster, because pumping your arms can sometimes make your character launch forward. It becomes very frustrating when you're trying to grab a rope handle to slide down a rope, but instead your character launches forward and you fall off of a cliff. The walking with the joystick should move a little faster than it does to allow the players to properly position themselves. Couldn't get the turning to work on HTV Vive. The first instructions says to turn with your arms but no matter which way I pointed my arms nothing would happen. The hand tracking was working fine so not sure what else to try.
