Void Runner (Pv Studio)

Void Runner is a fast arcade roguelite that keeps things pretty simple. I control a small ship inside compact arenas, shoot incoming enemies and try to survive as long as I can while building up my abilities between waves. The whole game is built around getting better at movement, aiming and making quick decisions rather than giving me a huge story or complicated world to explore. I actually like that approach because it knows what kind of game it wants to be from the start. The skill system gives each run a bit more variety than I expected. I can choose abilities between waves and build towards different combinations, with 28 skills that can evolve through several tiers. There are options based around things like multiple shots, drones, freezing, poison, life stealing and executions, so I have to think about what works with the build I am putting together. I like this because a run can start feeling completely different depending on which skills I choose. It is not just about surviving longer. I am also trying to put together something that makes the later waves easier to handle. The campaign is split across five worlds with more than 30 levels, and each world has its own enemie…
