Wald-Guard is a minimalist 2D platformer that transforms the classic childhood concept of “the floor is lava” into a tense and atmospheric precision-platforming experience. What initially appears to be a simple arcade-style platformer quickly reveals itself as a surprisingly demanding test of timing, movement control, and patience. Every jump, dash, and midair adjustment matters because survival depends entirely on maintaining momentum and staying airborne while navigating increasingly complex platforming challenges. a really cute and fun game with a simple but really engaging movement cute art, relaxing music and incredibly fun levels that feel challenging but fair with some elements of nonlinear exploration and some cool secrets here and there it also has an interesting nerrative that is told with the art and mechanics of each level that is really interesting trying to understand, and begs for interpretation and analysis. the levels Theming (especially on the later ones) are really interesting and made the expirience very unique. its a little amaturish but in a positive way where you can feel the developers love and passion put into it in every little detail, instead of trying to be proffesional and conventional. and the game constantly improved and gets better with every single update. the game also has a supizing amount of content, and is incredibly worth its price if this looks interesting to you i highly recommend you buy it! the frame rate on my pc was a little low sometimes, but my pc is not that great and from what i heard no one else expirienced problems with that2 found this helpful
A neat little Celeste inspired 2D plattformer. The gameplay ist simple, you need to be in the air the entire time, dodge obsticles and collect items. Creative game and well worth the price. Absolutely try it if you like the premise.1 found this helpful
