About Wall of insanity
Wall of Insanity is a new project from the creators of the Slaughter game series.
This is a single player campaign third-person shooter, with a large arsenal of weapons, crowds of various enemies and difficult locations, concealing many secrets.
It features a dark storyline, intense action, and a mystical journey into a dead, smoldering world.
You will face the unknown. A descent into a kingdom of anxiety and madness.
The path through the abyss will be difficult, the trek extremely dangerous, and you will be left almost hopeless.
Story:
A police operation to detain a dangerous cult's sectarians leads to unexpectedly deadly consequences.
That squad vanished under mysterious circumstances, and the Special Unit soldiers sent in to investigate their disappearance find
just an empty, abandoned house. This is only where the story begins...
Key Features:
. Active battles with the use of firearms. Survival depends on caution, reaction speed, and weapon accuracy. Use elements of the environment itself to escape this horrific world.
. A journey to another world where fear, sorrow, and madness rule. A diligently crafted,
ominous environment, fraught with mystery and danger, lies ahead of you. How far will you dare to go?
. A plethora of traps and enemies await around every corner. Investigate your surroundings carefully. Don't take unnecessary risks.
Study your enemies. Carefully selected tactics will save your ammunition. And your life.
. Explore the world to replenish and expand your arsenal. Weapons and useful items will be needed. Look for secrets, documents, and workarounds to prevail against all odds.

A decent looking game, and that's about it. The gameplay is nothing short of annoying or mediocre, and the story is a whole whopping load of nothing. Not to mention, it feels awful to control. Kind of sad, because I quite enjoy Zdzisław Beksiński's paintings, but this game doesn't really do anything with the art style. It suffers from the same problem of Scorn where it just has a vaguely inspired world and that's it. It doesn't have an interesting story to tell through its art style or world, nor does it have one to begin with. At least Scorn had some neat fleshy technology going on its world.4 found this helpful
Good game, visually stunning and definitely worth the money if your looking to play something odd and with a decent story. (Also blew myself up a couple of times with the frag 👍)
This would be good if it weren't so buggy.
I picked this up because I really enjoyed the demo for the second game, and figured I'd should see where things started. And... No. I don't think that was a wise decision. Gunplay is alright, and you have third person or first person views to utilize. Enemies aren't super bright, but I suppose with the mangled messes that they are - it makes sense. The level design starts off as extremely claustrophobic, and it is a trend that stays pretty common throughout what I played. It can be easy to get lost, as much of the game looks the same. When you do go into a new environment there's not a lot of explanation for it, and it is probably best to view it as just a collection of weird places meshed together like some kind of complex cube of shenanigans. Unfortunately this game has a plethora of game breaking bugs. Occasionally I'd find myself falling out of the map, or floating above boxes or killed enemies, which prevented me from using things or exiting rooms. Maybe it would have been worth pushing through, but the auto-saves can be far apart. And the game isn't compelling enough to replay sections multiple times. There are some neat ideas here, but it doesn't come together we…
Fun and short.
when people talk of underrated games, it is sometimes games that are already known by thousands.
