WARSHIFT 2 is a unique mix of the Action, Strategy and Role-playing gameplay elements that forms an innovative game genre. You can build base, manage troops, and then come down to keep your enemy at gunpoint in the dynamic battle and customize your main characters. This unusual gameplay requires a complete change of your play style.
ACTION-RTS GAMEPLAY
- Toggle between Third Person Action and Strategy modes in the real-time on the battlefield
- Real-Time Strategy gameplay: manage troops, Aircraft Carriers, Battleships
- Dynamic battles army vs against hordes of enemies
CUSTOMIZATION
- Customize, upgrade and evolve systems for the Heroes (combat avatars)
- Dozens of weapons and upgrades for each Hero
- Each hero has unique super-ability and own weapons
- New type of Addons for Heroes: supports drones / turrets
HEAVY UNITS TACTICS
- Create and command your army, buildings and defensive towers
- Economic component: extraction of resources and creating energy is critical for success

BACKGROUND

well ive done a small walk around the ice berg. and im happy it basically completes the first game and builds in some extra. its a game style ive always appreciated. and now that i have more then the complete article im definatly going to enjoy this for a long time. the a.i. is even harder witch is awesome. and if i can convince anyone to play. it poses a unique challenge of gameplay that cant really be handled by your average casual gamer. pulling all the stops will have your brain running full blast. and strategy games like this kinda break new ground i wish we had more.2 found this helpful
Didnt play the first one, but this one seemed really fun. tried it out. its an enjoyable RTS. But still needs some polishing. FPS drops to 30-40 in TPP mode. not with all vehicle but most. Pathfinding needs work. units get stuck and remain ther until you wiggle them out. its a 6.5/10 at its current state1 found this helpful

Its cool but feels a bit more like early access.
I like the look and feel of the game. classic and nostalgic strategy game, Must try for all strategies fans.
Us RTS fans have so much cake this year. I'm gunna be fat, but that isn't much different from before, but that has little to do with this game. This game is good RTS shootem up fun. Multiplayer would be great but I think that's a pipe dream. Some rough edges in the game, cumbersome loading screen transitions, If you like blowing things up, buy this game.
