WaveCrash!! is a competitive puzzle brawler that combines elements of fighting games and puzzle games to create a new take on the party fighter genre. Players match up blocks into groups that they launch at their opponent in the form of waves. Hitting an opponent's wave causes the two waves to "crash" and cancel out. Hitting your opponent pushes the dividing line forward, earning you more of the board and bringing you one step closer to victory.

It's a lot of fun, I love the characters, but I do really wish they'd add an arcade mode or something to really flesh out the single-player experience.
It's great. Stands out in an entire ocean of indie games. I consciously avoid playing fighting games because they frustrate me, and also most puzzle games because they make my head hurt, but I'm never gonna not play this game. This makes me like fast-paced gameplay.
This game is like dodgeball combined with a match 3 game. I love all the different characters abilities and the fact that they each have entire bios written about them. I'ts great when people combine games together and this is a perfect example of that.
I got to try out this game at a convention and really liked it! I got the game on itch, but bought it on steam too to show support. It's definitely fun to play with friends! I got pretty competitive with some of mine. As some other reviews have mentioned, the single player stuff may be a bit lacking for some, but overall, a fun new twist on a fighting game ^.^
Met the Dev at Youmacon and played a few rounds with friends; we really liked it and thought it was a great party game, we're looking forward to seeing what will come from it!
If you like match-3 games, this is pretty neat. Unfortunately, you'd better have someone to play with. The built in AI in 'practice' (i.e. vs bots mode) is not particularly challenging, even on 'Hard' setting. The 'endless' mode is challenging, but it has different mechanics (you have no competitor) I could see this being a great game when a friend comes over, but it's not something I'm likely to play more solo.
